Cracker Barrel

I called and spoke to Corey last week about accommodationing me and my 25 staff members. He was able to assist me with no problem. He greeted me and had his staff assist me with seating. He also provided me with a cart to bring in my staff gifts. Just wanted to give him a big thank you for helping me. I also want to thank our AMAZING waitresses Ashley, Amanda, and Madison. They were very pleasant and efficient and provided us service with a smile the entire time. They did an excellent job serving us. This was our first time having our Christmas party at a restaurant, and Corey and his staff made this very memorable for everyone. Thank you for having such an amazing group of team members. The food was very good and there was plenty of it. I had a full half of my order for lunch the next day at work and it was almost as good as fresh. Our waitress was very pleasant and it was very busy, so I know she had to been working pretty hard. It was a busy Saturday mid day and crowded but we were served quickly, checked out quickly and everyone was very nice.

Cracker Barrel was one of the few restaurants open on Thanksgiving, which worked in our favor. My wife and I have never had such a pleasant experience as we did tonight. Our server--Gloria--greeted us with an enthusiasm and personality that immediately knocked us on the floor! She was witty, outgoing, and had such a positive attitude, we couldn't help but smile! She provided us with updates on our order and after she delivered our meal, made sure to check that we had everything we needed to ensure 100% satisfaction. If we could give a 10 star rating, Gloria is deserving of it. The world would be a much better place if more servers were like Gloria: happy to serve, grateful for life, and positively energetic. The menu was limited but was still on point for Cracker Barrel. That is to say, their biscuits and gravy and country fried steak were simply outstanding. My wife's ham steak was done perfectly, and the hash brown casserole never disappoints. The men's bathroom needed a little TLC: it was the end of a very busy day for them and I could definitely tell that from the overflowing trash bin. After a long day, my wife and I were looking for a place to have a nice dinner and unwind. We were lucky enough to have a fabulous dinner and an even more fabulous server. We walked out of that Cracker Barrel with smiles and a renewed sense of faith in the next generation. Don't ever lose that positive attitude, Gloria!!

We came for lunch at 1pm. I ordered a entree chucked with two sides. The chicken was delicious the sides were terrible. Carrots were from yesterday soft and dark colored. Steak fries were ok maybe 5 if even that. Surprised the waitress did not see it and take to get replaced. Just driving thru did not want more as we were in a car. Next time will get my usual breakfast made fresh.

A most enjoyable restaurant to dine! The food we enjoyed; I had the Chicken & Dumplings, 2 sides, and y hubby had a thick slice of meatloaf, 3 sides, and it was more than plenty, and very tasty! Our waitress Emily was nice and friendly and very accommodating. Our only notice of 'needing attention' was the floors needed a good sweeping. Otherwise, 👍's up! The gift shop is delightful! This is at Lansing, Michigan, W. Saginaw Highway, Cracker Barrel Restaurant! 😋 ...we dined 9/8/23.
