Cracker Barrel

We were 18 people seated at four tables near each other. My husband has Parkinson. They allowed him to sit in the rocking chair in the dining area instead of waiting in line . After we were seated, the waitress was excellent. She was patient and kind ,very helpful. We all enjoyed the meal thoroughly. The prices of the meals were very reasonable.

I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with the staff at the Lafayette, LA location. I can’t sing their praises enough! Lilian, who waited on us, was excellent! Service was fast and friendly and she went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was hot and delicious and we had no complaints. She even wrote a sweet note on our receipt. We were traveling from TX to FL and it wasn’t until hours after we left the establishment, that I discovered I had absentmindedly left my wallet sitting on the restaurant table. Shemika (a store manager) answered my call after the restaurant had closed for the evening and assured me my wallet was in their possession and arrangements would be made for its safe return. The next morning, I called back and spoke with Erika (another store manager). She, personally, mailed my wallet back that same day and texted me a photo of the postal receipt and tracking number. I received it the very next day exactly as I left it! I’m so beyond grateful! My faith in humanity has been restored! Cracker Barrel, please give these women a bonus or a pay raise! They all truly make the world a better place! ❤️

Going for a late lunch on Tue was nice, the restaurant was not too busy and we quickly got a table. Got a new waitress in training, and she was very nice and got our order correct. Did a little shopping. Would like to recommend to the manager that the bathrooms, including ceiling vents, be thoroughly cleaned to remove the musty smell. Overall good experience.

I just had to come in here to hype up our waiter, Robert G. “Bobby was on his apron”. I’m from Louisiana where “southern hospitality” is everywhere. THIS MAN WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST WAITER IVE EVER HAD. He knew the menu like BACKWARDS AND FORWARDS, when he asked if he’d forgotten anything, we reminded him we needed apple butter for the biscuits, and he told US “thank you” for reminding him. His customer service was TOP KNOTCH. The food was great. But it was even better because Mr. Robert was so accommodating. This might not be “good”, but upon ordering, I wanted to upgrade my hash bowl to the loaded casserole like it says you can on the menu, and Robert told me, it comes FULLY loaded as is just so you know, so you can save the extra upgrade charge. THAT to me is truly amazing. Trying to save your guests a couple bucks because you knew the menu so well. So again. Thank you Robert in store 544! You seriously deserve to be in management of some sort!!

I've been in Lafayette for 23 years and never once ate at Cracker Barrel until my sister, who lives in Alabama now was in town and she insisted we eat there. First off I'm sorry Cracker Barrel for not coming enjoy this awesome breakfast! The pancakes were soft and like a pillow but those biscuits were like something my grandmother would've made on a weekend morning for us as kids. It was so good and I'll definitely be back to try some more food here now. I apologize again 🤦🏽‍♂️😂
