I know it's not this location's fault, but I prefer the one in Hillcrest. It has a more vibrant & social atmosphere, as well as more room. Also, I know Lestat's is known for being pricey, but $17 seems really steep for such a small pizza with so few toppings. There was also a lot of ice in the drink; you'd think with the amount they charged for food & drinks, they'd be fair with their portions. Oh well.

I stopped by this place for a quick bite. It was late in afternoon and the place was randomly filled with scattered people working on their laptops or chatting. It’s a full laid back and casual place. I usually stop drinking coffee after lunch hour, so couldn’t drink that. I had a frittata and that was pretty good. However, I felt 5$ is a little pricy for the piece that I had. However I will return to this place for my morning coffee soon.

his is my ideal place to work! The people are chill, the back is nice and quiet, and I love the art and feel of this place. Americano is good. The guy working last time was so funny I couldn’t stop laughing. I’d recommend cleaning some of the fixtures (dusty AF). 10/10 coming back.

Cool spot to sit and work with a good selection of pastries, tea and coffee. They often have live music too!

Excellent coffee shop for late night studying. Also, Ian and Nick are both incredibly friendly every time that I come here. Their great attitude and passion for their work is infectious and adds to the enjoyable experience I have when I do my studying here.

Really fun cafe with eclectic art and wonderful pastries. The coffee and the comfy couches make it an excellent place to get work done at all times of the day (and night).

Loved it, just loved it. I and my teenager drove 25 minutes to get here. Left 2 in the morning and never realized it was this late. The internet speeds are perfect. A very good study cafe.

Lestat's on Park was a fantastic find: - Ideal for work and study - Plenty of accessible outlets - Welcoming and friendly baristas - The spacious, airy environment with high ceilings In my book, it's a solid 5 out of 5. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a productive and inviting workspace.

Ordered an iced Vietnamese and a Mexican Mocha and both were amazeballs! Also had an avocado toast, also delicious. Funky interior and dogs welcome.

Definitely this place is a a coffee house-stick with that. Lots of choices and a good environment to drink your coffee and work on your laptop. As far as the sandwiches available (didn't try the salads or other offerings), try somewhere else. After the parade, my friends and I stopped by for a late lunch on the way home. One friend ordered a Cubano, another ordered Rubén, I ordered the brisket sandwich, each costing $15+. The sandwiches arrived shortly due to only one employee being on duty. For the price, they were very stingy with the meager portion of meat. The Ruben had 3 small slices of meat, the cubano had a couple of (what looked like) black forest ham sandwich slices and a couple of small pieces (not even a slice) of roast pork. The brisket had 3 thin slices of meat. The sandwiches were OK (except the cubano which didn't look or taste like a real Cuban sandwich). But, they looked like an afterthought, not worth the price. So, for coffee, back to Starbucks and for a good sandwich, a nice sandwich shop or restaurant. Good place for students to do homework but not for real food.

Spacious coffee shop with NOLA French Quarter vibes. I assume it’s named after the infamous NOLA vampire. Good spot to work for night owls.

I absolutely love Lestats! This is the best location - parking is easy and the inside has air conditioning. Great place to grab a coffee and pastry and spend hours reading or studying. Prices are very competitive with other coffee places in San Diego, but the coffee here is way better. So much to try on the menu, and they have really good quiche if you get hungry.

This is a great local place... A serious alternative to Starbucks for sure. It's just down the street from my office and I visit a few times a month. I really appreciate the friendly service, and the high quality of the coffee and food. They have great sandwiches for both breakfast and lunch, and I almost always order a medium cafe mocha. The decor is artsy and comfortable. They also display the work of local artist in the walls. They offer free Wi-Fi and because it's a large place, you don't feel uncomfortable if you want to stay for a while and get some work done. Check them out next time you are in University Heights.
