Hands down the most comfortable and inviting coffee shop I've ever been to. Feels like you are sitting in your living room enjoying a warm cup of brew being hugged by the comfortable couches and pillows which are in abundance. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, makes you feel like you can!e to visit your good friend. And of course most importantly is the coffee. Plenty of selections and if you are a latte lover you just try the Spice of Life or the Sleepy Bee which is far from sleepy. My new favorite stop Knoxville! My only request is to get my drink served in a mug rather than a to go cup, I would happily pay extra! It would give me an opportunity to take a much better picture.

Nice, laid-back and comfortable atmosphere. Great for working/studying/meeting up with friends. Super kid-friendly (I think they had a kid play room at one point but not sure if it's back since the pandemic). Staff is super friendly. However, the coffee itself is just okay compared to other local coffee spots in Knoxville. If you're a coffee connoisseur, this is not the spot for you.

Such a cute place! Not to mention the incredible coffee and scone selection. I had a pecan pie au lait with soy milk and a gluten free/vegan chocolate chip scone. Both were some of the best coffee shop treats I've ever had.The baristas we're incredibly friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is just as cozy and inviting. An absolute gem of an unexpected place outside of Knoxville!

I am not a big coffee drinker, but found this hidden gem near work when I needed a pick-me-up. Great chill atmosphere, my coffee was exactly what I didn't know I always wanted - the barista seemed to know exactly what to make based on my vague description of coffee needs. The scone was pretty good, too. Only complaint is that they are not open the rest of the day. Great place to take your laptop and get work done, even if it is only half a day. There is a piano as well.

This place was hopping (i.e. students doing group studies, adults doing remote work, senior group knitting, friends conversing, etc). It would be beneficial for some noise absorption panels as it can get pretty loud. It took a solid 20 minutes to get my pour over medium roast with oak milk and a mixed berry scone. I wasn't a big fan of the coffee. The scone was a little dry for my liking and also small in size for its listed price. The staff were nice and welcoming. The establishment appeared clean.

These amazing ladies fixed me up so perfectly this morning, in my time of need! Our Keurig died last night, and I had a very important video interview to attend today. I needed to get caffeinated without taking time away from my interview prep. I don't like the hassle of going to Starbucks, nor their overhyped coffee. I gave Empty Cup a call, explained my desperation and need for a LOT of coffee, and they had a 96-ounce carton of liquid gold waiting for me in about 15 minutes. Go give these wonderful people your business. Aside from the excellent customer service, the coffee is PERFECTION - delicious. I can't wait to drink more of it from my carton tomorrow morning. THANK YOU, EMPTY CUP LOVELIES!!

This cozy coffee shop has a lot to offer. The coffee is great, but they don't stop there. If you enjoy a good tea with an enjoyable twist, I recommend the London Fog. It is Earl Grey and Lavander in steamed milk. It is amazing. I also tried their gluten-free brownie, and it was top knoch! Soft, chewy, AND fluffy! They offered to warm it too. This coffee shop truly lives up to its name because I very quickly had an empty cup, and I want to return for more!
