The Boathouse

We stopped here for lunch and the view was outstanding. Our server Chelsea was not only an excellent server, she made the best suggestions. My husband has the onion rings (which are to die for) with his Reuben sandwich (also amazing with horseradish) and I had the burger with sweet potato fries. Our lunch and experience was truly was outstanding!

Nice patio on the water and really good service! I don’t remember our servers name but she was awesome! They had a cider on tap which I liked and a good beer selection. We ordered the nachos and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were amazing!!! The food took a bit longer than normal but we weren’t in any rush so it was fine. They also have a happy hour so our appetizers were half price! Overall it’s a cute little place and we had a good time. Will definitely come back if I’m in Kitchener again.

Nice patio in the summer. Their menu had a huge typo - something with real bacon said it was vegan. Bit more attention to detail would go a long way! Went again recently and they do have a vegan burger option which I am pretty sure is the Beyond Burger for those of you who have tried it! Anyway it is really good. Awesome patio seats.

I'm new to the open mic scene at this place. Played my second time tonight with my bud Alex. Welcoming and comfortable vibe all around. Friendly, fun, cold beer. Great music. Great sound and setup thanks to the beautiful Tasha (if you haven't heard Tasha's voice and guitar, do yourself a favour) Staff is top notch. I'm glad I was introduced to this place. Thanks for two fun and memorable evenings. Looking forward to many more!

The pizza here is amazing, it's a great place for drinks and it's right beside the river so there's a great view of the river. The inside of the building itself isn't the cleanest, the floor isn't finished and it's very stained. If you're looking for a quiet spot this isn't the place for you since they always have something going on. I would also suggest that the servers should have uniforms since right now they're allowed to wear whatever they want and there's no appearance standard so some of the servers look sloppy. Overall, pretty good service and really good food so I'd definitely recommend a visit.

Great service and great location. There was an error made on our salad..and when brought to the servers attention...it was immediately resolved. The front of house manager immediately came to us to apologize...and even sure it was removed from the bill. Accidents happens... however how a business handles the accident speaks volumes.
