Was nice, we had my daughter's wedding reception there. Unfortunately about 20 guests came down with covid shortly after. Including myself.
Without proof, I can not say with confidence, a barmaid was working on that night knowing that she was positive with covid.
Obviously, this is only hear say, however it came from a person very close to the barmaid.
If this is the case then the management needs to rethink their working policy.
Other than that it was a great night.

Love this pub. Nice clean pub. Food is great, especially Sunday roast, offer delivery service too. Friendly, helpful staff.
Scott & Sam have turned this pub around, nothing is too much trouble for them, they are so hospitable, warm & welcoming couple community spirited.
Great crowd of regulars, that make you feel welcome when you walk through the doors.
I highly recommend this pub.

Excellent food but check serving times. Can get noisy at times. Generally lots of interest around the pool table. Very much a locals pub of an older era and about a mile to the main town centre.

Such a great atmosphere. Refreshing for a residential area pub. Great food, friendly staff. They deliver food including Sunday dinners. since reopening post COVID-19 they have adapted and made appropriate changes which has made me feel safer in going out.
