This place is the best. Looks unassuming from the exterior. However, inside the have the best Indian food in buffalo. I guess Kenmore technically. But Kenmore is luck. I wish they would move out to Amherst, like I did a decade ago. I would highly recommend the chicken jalfrezi. And all of their breads the alu-paratha in particular.

Absolutely loved the food and the service here! The Owner is very sweet and good with my kids. She brought my son his own bowl of rice because he doesn't like to share lol. All 4 of our dishes were amazing and she custom made our dishes to be dairy free. She also brought us some vegan gluten free large crackers to try. Wish we lived here because this would be our go to spot. Enjoy

I drove by earlier in the day and thought maybe, yeah I can stop for dinner. Never been before but let me tell you. I'm hooked. It's take out only right now, not a problem. I spoke with the lady at the counter who was absolutely lovely and incredibly pleasant. I learned all about her and her family and their love of Buffalo. I ordered saag paneer medium spicy, chana masala hot spicy, and asked which samosas to order the beef or potato. She recommended the potato. I also ordered Nan and a side of mint chutney. These folks are not afraid to add the heat. For me, it was perfect but if you can't take it spicy you better stick to mild across the meal. The samosa are nothing short of delicious. They're super creamy potato and pea with a nice herb and spice mix stuffed into pastry cooked to perfection and the dipping sauce was amazing. Loved them. The saag has such amazing spinach flavor which is exactly how it should be. This is one of my all time favorite Indian dishes and India Star did not disappoint. The chana masala has a ton of flavors and is a great dish. The mint chutney is bright and refreshing. To be honest my nan was a little under cooked but I tossed it into the toaster oven for a minute or two which made it a game changer. That game was full on now. They also gave me a rice pudding and it was also fantastic. So I love this place and will definitely be back. Do yourself a favor and pick up dinner this week. Did I mention it was all really, really good. Two thumbs up. I'm adding this one to my new favorites list.

I've tired many and I mean MANY Butter chickens from many different Indian restaurants. This was the worst tasting butter chicken ever. It tasted as if a pound of sugar was put into it. It genuinely hurt my teeth with how sweet it was and butter chicken is NOT supposed to be sweet..

I wish, Google had a negative or zero star rating. I ordered jira aloo with mild spicy. And I got tons of jira (cumins) with extreme spicy. The second dish was veg biryani with mild spicy. Again it was extremely spicy and it's red colored. I simply don't understand why most such Indian restaurants add color or what ingredients they used to change the color of dishes. Naan was a little undercooked and kadhi pakora was just okay though we couldn't eat pakora due to the smell of foul oil. This was my first order and I'm really disappointed with this restaurant and would not recommend it. The only good thing was UberEATS delivery.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant. The food is always delicious and they will actually make the food spicy if you ask for it. The egg plant pakora and the Shahi Korma are some of our favorites. If you want a nice cooling treat to go with a super spicy currythe mango Lassi is amazing.

Wish I could give it a lower rating than 1. The lady is rude, the restaurant is dingy. And when we ordered snacks, she said ‘do take out. Don’t waste my time’. Shocked with the experience and hospitality
