Bub-ba-q

$19 for a pitcher of Bud Light??!!?!?! I've never seen such in my entire life, as that's comparable (or more) than Aspen a couple months ago. Never seen pitcher near that expensive in north Atlanta, much less Jasper. Absolutely insane. If we ever go back, we definitely won't have any beer. Brisket was dry, but when we had it two or three years ago it was one of the top three briskets I've ever had in my life. We also had pulled pork and it was good. They have four sauce selections that are pretty good as well. Did not care for the bread that comes on the sandwich as it makes the sandwich more dry than if it were a traditional style barbecue bun that was thinner/less bread.

Saw it on the billboard and stopped in. Very quick friendly service. The menu has your typical BBQ place options as well as some other interesting options like their version of a chimichanga. I went with a pulled pork and ribs platter with collards and okra. It was all very good, ribs were tender without being overcooked. Sides were great. They've got really good fries too. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and will aim to stop by again next time I'm in the area to try some other menu items.

FIRST time eating here, good food & music! My favorites the deep fried Mac and cheese i ordered. I asked for dark meat, and I got white meat but they did not hesitate to bring me the dark meat, and apologized kindly to me. They also did not charge for the other piece of chicken so that was super nice of them. I would highly recommend Bub-ba-q if you enjoy BBQ food! 🍖😊

What has happened to BubbaQ? Such a disappointment for what used to be our favorite BBQ place to go. My husband got the smash burger and okra and it looked like a child's serving, 3 out of 5 people order was wrong, they got the right order but not served with the things on the menu. one hot dog was just died cold bread and a hot dog, the bbq meat Slaw, cheese sauce was left off. Instead of taking it back and remaking it she was brought a little cup of each and no cheese sauce. 3 ordered fried okra and it was a tiny serving, like shockingly small. 2 ordered the smash burger, it was brought out plain with nothing, no lettuce, tomato, onion, nothing. And the prices are not cheap for the serving sizes. My smoked chicken, fries and beans were delicious and plenty of food. Our server was new but very nice and did a great job. I think the owners need to spend some extra time here and get things back on track.. I've seen many negative reviews. I hope it improves or we'll not be back.

Worst I’ve had. I normally go to the one in Woodstock but stopped by one in Jasper and it was horrible. Got the ribs and brisket combo. Ribs were extremely over cooked ( so much so one rib had no meat at all) and 2 slices of briskets. Incorrect sides and when I got the correct sides the Mac and cheese was cold. I didn’t even both having the waitress bring my other side out. By then I made my mind up I wasn’t eating this. I had 4 bites off the entire plate and the best they could do is half off. Never again! I didn’t even keep the plate at the table the entire time my husband was eating his bread sandwich. I never complain but this was unacceptable food and service.
