My Girlfriend was graduating from college & she loves chocolate covered strawberries. I always buy them for her at the Pike Place Market Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and have always been pleased. This time I did not want to hassle with downtown Seattle traffic & parking so I found the Issaquah location online & it looked like a very nice store so I thought that I would give it a try. I wanted to call 1st before I drove all the way over there to make sure that they even had chocolate covered strawberries. I had to call 7 times to even get somebody to answer the phone. Once somebody finally answered the person spoke very broken English and I had to repeat myself like 3 times when asking if they had chocolate covered strawberries. The person told me "yeah, yeah we have them. I even asked again just to be clear & the person seemed annoyed & like they wanted to hurry and get off of the phone with me. So I fought traffic and rushed down to Issaquah to make the purchase so that I could than head down to My Girlfriend's graduation with her favorite treats. When I got there and asked for the chocolate covered strawberries the broken English associate looked in the glass case for 5 minutes for the item when I could tell by just a quick glance that there were no chocolate covered strawberries in the case. I than explained to the associate that I called and spoke with someone there that told me they had them and that is why I drove from Seattle to get them for an important special occasion that was taking place in like the next couple of hours. All the guy said is "we don't have that". He offered me some free yogurt, which I had no need for and I wasted alot of time driving down there and sitting in traffic all for nothing! I also told him that everybody who works there're should be more aware of the products that they have before telling a customer "yeah, yeah we have them". Luckily Boehms Chocolates in Issaquah saved the day for me. They don't even sell chocolate covered strawberries but the owner told me that if I bought strawberries and brought them in too him, he would make me chocolate covered strawberries personally himself for my special occasion. He even took off the price of the strawberries I bought from the very inexpensive price he was charging me. I usually pay close to $50 for a dozen chocolate covered strawberries from rocky Mountain chocolate factory but he only charged me less than $15. He also put them into 2 very nice cases and gave me an ice pack to keep the chocolate covered strawberries fresh. Now that's top notch customer service and that is how it is done rocky mountain. Disregard previous rate, obviously this person doesn't undetstand the concept that if a clerk is busy that cannot answer the phone aswell. They most often have a single worker taking care of all the customers. The prices on stuff are good, the quality is good aswell. The apples are great if you can get one. Chocolate is amazing as well
