The first Chinese place I enjoyed over 20 years ago as a kid. I live in Albany, NY and this gem in Hudson is still my #1 and likely always will be. If you havent had it Its a great experience. Food is delicious and atmosphere is great at an unbeatable price.

Food was great- portions large enough they thought this was all for four people (not the two of uslol) hot&soup was not hot (spicy) but it was tasty and the fried soup noodles they provided made up for what was lacking
Shrimp in lobster sauce plus the fried rice was the way to go
Dumplings were the doughy type
General Tso with brown rice was also good
Would reorder all of this again. It hit the spot when in the mood for that universal classic ~*American Chinese*~

Pretty good Chinese food. Spring Garden has been around for as long as I can remember. The food has definitely improved since the days when dear old Dad took us there as kids. I would suggest they check the recipe for Moo Shoo Pork, however, as theirs was not great. Everything else was... pretty good!

The white rice was okay. Wouldn't order again if the owner of the restaurant offered to pay for my meal.

Ordered online and was charged around $ 2.00 more than what the reciept said. The quality and amount of food given is nothing like it was 5 years ago. It's sad to see what the pandemic and inflation has come to.

I got the general Tsao’s chicken and it was the best I’ve ever had. So delicious. Crisp on the outside, perfect sauce flavor, perfectly cooked white meat chicken on the inside. Plus some veggies. You could really taste the quality of the meat and the freshness compared to other restaurants. Also, I am from NYC so I have ate from a lot of really good Chinese restaurants to compare it to.
Service also very fast. I wanted brown rice, but they were out so gave me white rice. I don’t mind too much (especially because there are tons of food shortages right now), the food makes up for it for sure.

Always great portions and hot, delicious food. Everything we order we love and everyone who works there is so friendly. Our food is always ready in 15 minutes and we don’t go anywhere else for Chinese food.
