Incredible food at ridiculously low prices. The queso blanco (white cheese) is amazing I think it's made with Oaxaca which is really tasty and has an amazing creamy texture. I travel all the way from midtown to this place because it's the best Mexican restaurant I've found in Houston. The owner is a great guy as well and makes you feel welcome.

The food here is delicious!!!! :D The owner Miguel is super nice and the prices are great--I don't think I've ever had a better tasting quesadilla, and their burrito was to die for! I have a new favorite restaurant!!!! The staff is very nice and the dining area is very open and clean--a win!!!

Amazing little restaurant; as others have said don't let the outside fool you! It's majestic inside, service is decent, food is amazing, great prices, great little date secret!

This place had good reviews so we checked it out last night.
As others have mentioned, nothing to look at on the outside, BUT the inside is clean and comfortable.
We came early (5:30) on a Wednesday afternoon and were the only people there. That's OK. Other reviews said the same so we expected it.
Waitress had limited English, but that's OK. She was polite and friendly.
I'm a Yankee in Houston for 8 years. Have tried a lot of Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants. Don't consider myself an expert....but this place I like.
The place has character and the food is good. I'll be taking visitors there in a couple weeks.
