Hamlet Cafe

Google says opens at 7:00 but when we arrived in the at 7:27 the lady said they weren’t open yet. I had to ask to come in to wait by the fire as she was going to get us to wait outside in the freezing cold. This got her offside and she wasn’t super friendly after that. I hope she has a better day today! Coffee was nice.

Can’t fault the coffee and brownies! Definitely the best items we ordered. Truly upset with the price though and food, way too expensive for what you get. Ordered a bacon focaccia brinjal had to add egg for $3 and hashbrown for $4, overall it was $25 for a bacon & egg roll with fancy relish, over cooked egg and 2 bits of rubbery bacon with burnt bread. The fire was a nice touch and service was friendly but your food needs work.

Warm welcoming Cafe with a wood fireplace to keep things warm and toasty during the colder days. Coffee was offered upon initial sitting down which was great. Inclusive Cafe who focus on work experience which is another positive. Only downside is that after they took my coffee order there was no follow up to see if I wanted food for a good 20-30mins which I thought was bad considering people coming in after me were getting food served on their tables. I was almost about to pay for the coffee and grab food elsewhere when a waitress finally came up and asked if I wanted anything else. Hoping the ignorance of a customer was a once off.
