Penn Station East Coast Subs

My husband and I visit Penn Station just about every weekend, we always get the same order, we have NEVER had any issues at Penn Station, everything is always wonderful, hot, fresh, and delicious. However today on 06/11/2022 we came in to get our normal order and when i received my sandwich it was much much smaller than normal and my husbands was bigger and normal sized to what we always get, i brought my sandwich up to the cashier and showed it to her and showed that it was supposed to be a regular sized sandwich and she stated that it was, however it was roughly 3 inches shorter than my husbands sandwich, i just let it go because she was not going to fix it. This makes me upset considering we’ve never had any issues and always have a great experience.

Penn Station is a good place to get a sub. It's fries are really good, and they seem to use fresh ingredients and all, but the demeanor and attitude of the staff can quickly invalidate all that is good at any restaurant. I visited the Hixson Pike location yesterday and was greeted by the attendant who took our order. Nothing unusual about that. But the food preparer presented as a grumpy individual with the personality of a dial tone. Not friendly at all. OK, so everyone has a bad day, right? I can overlook that, but then my BLT sub was delivered to the table with half-cooked bacon. It was still translucent, rubbery and almost raw. I did not address my concern to her for fear of severe backlash based on her attitude. I just didn't eat it. I'm one of those patrons who quietly complains to myself or to my dining partner about food quality when dining out. I don't want confrontation. I just don't go back. Hopefully that one person doesn't have bad days often. I'll try a different location next time.
