Great place for BBQ. We got our food fast. The service was very courteous and friendly. The sliced brisket was the most tender and moist brisket I've ever had. It is obvious why they have won so many awards for their BBQ. I liked the green beans and the baked beans the best from the sides we tried (potato salad and corn were the others). They had run out of the Mac and cheese by the time we arrived, which was close to closing. We got the two meat plates. Ask for bread on the side. Chicken was dry, but good. Especially when you slather on the BBQ sauce. Definitely a good stop for BBQ.

Great brisket and very nice people. Also, It has a cool atmosphere. I was just picking up BBQ for the drive, but this looks like a great place to watch a game.

Stopped here for late lunch and we were so pleasantly surprised. The chopped beef sandwich was excellent and you could tell by the constant traffic thru this small restaurant we were not the only ones who were impressed. This has got to be one of Hempstead Tx hidden prizes. We will be back again.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. We tried the baked potato with sausage and brisket, some sausage and brisket on their own, and some cowboy beans.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The bbq sauce was on point. The beans were perfectly sweet. The baked potato was GIGANTIC and amazingly well seasoned. I can’t wait to come back and try more!
