This was our first stop in LA and boy am I glad we came! Sushi was delicious and my daughter highly enjoyed the cheesy quesadillas! They are famous for their ceviches, so if you love fresh seafood and great sushi try this place out!

This place is bad. Nothing special about it. The service was bad. The only thing they brought quick to our table was the bill. Fish taco was a disappointment. The shrimp, gobernador and marlin tacos are just okay. I would not come back to this place………. The first El Chuy must be good because the second place sucks

This review is based on the food I ordered. I can’t speak for the rest of the menu items.
Honestly, this place can use some help with the quality and portion of the food. Very expensive for small portions and I know mariscos are expensive which I’m fine to pay. But these portions weren’t really fair enough for the price.
I understand the oysters have their own price depending on the amount ordered. However, the ceviche de camarón and the pescado a la veracruzana were not that good.
My wife ordered the fish and it was a super thin fish filet. The sauce was just a regular tomato sauce, not so much flavor. And the portion of rice and super small side salad was just a joke when we opened up her box of food.
Now the ceviche was just okay. Did not really taste as fresh or anything. Portion was super small for the price on it. And they charge 1 dollar per Chile verde sauce you want which was a small cup size.
Overall the only thing I liked was the customer service. I read a lot of reviews but it’s not worth it. A lot of items on the menu is a bad sign because they will never focus their strength on just one plate which was a shame because I would have love to come back here.
