Biryani House

We were a group of four who stopped in on a Saturday night. We arrived at 6:25 and were promptly told they were closing at 7:00 (menu says they close at 9:00!) and that we could still order takeout. We said no thank you and proceeded to walk out before a nice lady said they will serve us. We were excited and ordered a plate for each person in our party. The old man who took our order (same one who told us we could not dine in) was rude! He forgot a plate of rice that we ordered so my wife had to ask another employee for it. He also insisted to box our leftovers when we asked for to-go boxes. He did that wrong too. Lol. I got the chicken biryani and my wife ordered the chicken tikka massala. “Best biryani in LA” is their claim. They must have poor competition because it was not good! I’ve had better biryani from a food truck! The tikka massala was better but it’s average, I’ve had better.

Excellent Indian biriyani. Best butter chicken in town. Very good appetizer panner items. Service is sincere but could be a little bit more polished for non Indian customers. Small issue in my mind. Eggplant dish wasn't good. Stick to Biryani and you won't be disappointed. Kababs are pretty good also. Definitely recommend it.
