First time coming here and the area is very open and a very nice place to relax. I love the many flavours they offer here in a daily basis. Great prices for the delicious homemade ice cream. There are so many options to choose from, I need to come back more often to experience the rest! They even offer seasonal special flavours! Beautiful backyard patio to sit and talk! Very clean place. Lovely staff!

So, I took a Ride out onto Hwy 42 and there They sat on the Left. A Post for Drawn Buggy's, Handicapped Parking, a Beautiful Back Area to enjoy your Ice cream & a Wonderful Bridge to walk over with Cypress Trees throwing a Breeze on a Nice Fall Day. You walk up, choose your Flavor (s) and walk around to the side to pick it up. Dogs Love The Pup Cups and We Humans Love to know that some of the Flavors are Lactose Free!! 🌹

We drove about 20 miles from Massanutten Resort to this location, as it seemed there was a location right outside the resort, but when we went there, it was closed and had changed names. The drive was lovely and the ice cream was delicious. They have flavors I've never seen before, one of which was Oatmeal Creme Pie. That's the flavor I got. It had huge chunks of chewy oatmeal cookie in creamy vanilla ice cream. It was decadent. My mom got the Almond Coconut Joy and my husband got the Midnight Mint. I didn't try theirs, but they both liked their flavors. Service was friendly and fairly fast, considering that we had three orders. I can see why this place gets such high ratings. It would be nice to have some picnic tables on the property for more seating.

Yes, the ice cream is five stars good. Because of covid we couldn’t taste before buying, but I asked the cashier which chocolate based ice cream would have the most texture. She recommended triple chocolate and it was perfect. My kid got key lime pie flavor - outstanding. Same for mud slide and cotton candy (a flavor I normally find disgusting but my 9yo loves). Portions were huge and prices reasonable. We’re so glad we came here!

We have come to Grammie’s numerous times. My daughter has a nut allergy so we have always asked for a clean scoop. There has never been an issue just like the other ice cream shops in the area have been super nice about it. The last time we went my daughter was told they don’t serve people with allergies. We will never be back. If you have allergies don’t go to Grammies.
