Stopped by before going to the theatre nearby, didn’t have a booking but staff were accommodating enough to arrange a table. Nice menu with a good variety of chefs specials options. Had the seafood pasta and spaghetti vongolo which were both excellent, really good portions. Lovely wine too. Sat outside, atmosphere was great, very busy on a Saturday night and looked popular with locals as located away from the chain restaurants in the town. Music was playing and staff were very attentive. Will be visiting again.

The perfect wednesday night dinner out. Lovely staff, authentic music, absolutely delicious food, great wine and free Limoncello.
You can't find a better place to dine out anywhere in 50 miles.

Booked in advanced and heard a lot of good things about the restaurant. Very accommodating and let me at the table 20 minutes before the booking.

Olivo restaurant surpassed my expectations with an exceptional lunch experience. The "Insalata di Gamberi" starter was an unexpected delight, featuring fresh shrimp and vibrant greens. The "Pollo alla Valdostana" main course was outstanding, perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned. Our family's visit to Olivo Restaurant was outstanding. The 'Frittura' starter was a delicious beginning, followed by a perfect 'Pasta Carbonara' main course. The dessert was a delightful ending. The service and atmosphere were top-notch. Olivo is the ideal place for a family outing or any occasion. Highly recommended!

We have been going to Olivo for a few years now and it is nice to see that they are consistently good.
Last week we went to Olivo just for a relaxing evening and we definitely enjoyed ourselves.
The food was as delicious as always - we even ordered a second portion of prawns, just because we loved it so much.
The chocolate dessert went down really nicely and the evening was a success.

We went on a Saturday and the restaurant was really busy. The staff did a great job of juggling tables wanting to sit inside and outside with the threat of rain. Our food was delicious and we had a lovely bottle of wine. We will be back.

We called ahead to book a table Saturday night on very short notice, they were very nice to accommodate us. The food was absolutely devine. We shared Burratina al pistachio for a starter and it was extremely well balanced: the creaminess of the mozzarella and the pistachio pesto went so very well together. I had the Burrida for a main and I could barely finish everything, the portions are quite big compared to other restaurants we used to go to. As far as seafood goes the dish was everything you can hope for. My husband had the Tagliata di manzo ( steak) which was cooked exactly to his preference and was again a bit more than we had expected. Deserts were lovely. Had glasses of bubbly on the house as they found out we were celebrating an anniversary. We would 200% recommend and we'll definitely be coming back

Fabulous authentic Italian restaurant hidden in a sidestreet in Guildford , providing proper food, home-cooked using good quality ingredients, full of taste. A real Al fresco dining experience blankets provided, and heat lamps for when the sun goes down. Our waiter had excellent customer service. He recommended wine to complement the food nothing was too much bother for him. His attention to detail was on point. The food was cooked to perfection and plentiful. We did not have room for pudding, but it looked amazing. Will definitely be returning. All of the staff were lovely..

Service was a little slow at the beginning but then we had a lovely young waitress take over our table, she was amazing though out extremely helpful with the gluten free options as a member of our group had Celiac disease. she made us feel completely and really helped make our dining experience!

Been there last Friday and food was amazing, I only took the picture of my dish but I always believe my friends got better choices on their menu of the day on another paper. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and environment is good for either dating or having a nice time with friends/family.

We had the most delicious pasta - can't recommend it enough!
Very romantic and cozy atmosphere that is perfect for a couple's date or dinner.

We tried the Sunday set lunch in a historic building. The soup of the day and fish of the day were surprisingly delicious. Sunday lunch was quite full, luckily there was a table for 3 of us. Very enjoyable.

One of the few independent restaurants in Guildford. Never had a bad meal there. Excellent produce, classically Italian. It's run by Italians too as far as I can tell so certainly authentic.

Nothing special. Huge fan of italian, but this was truley disapointing last friday. Just eaten in Jamie Olivers Italian and it blew them away. Sorry guys, your service was good bot the overall experience was average
