Cotton Patch Cafe

A friend and I met here for lunch, and it did not disappoint. We weren't a fan of the brisket queso and salsa, so we left most of that behind, but our entrees were delicious. She chose salmon, sweet potato fries, and I honestly can't remember her other side. I ordered the lunch portion of chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. We each devoured our lunches, very yummy!! Oh, and the rolls that were served were heavenly!!!! My mouth is watering just thinking about them. Our server was nice and kept our drinks refilled. I'd definitely eat here again.

I’ve been eating at Cotton Patch for years and I’ve always enjoyed it but this past two years the food quality has been going downhill and the prices up. The chicken fried chicken is less then half the size it used to be and today I had the Cajun Duo and the size of the fish was about 4” long and that is not exaggeration. I told the waitress, she told her manager, and they did bring me out another piece, about 10 minutes later which was just a little bigger then the one before but I couldn’t even eat the first one because it was so dried out. So I had a small side of fried mushrooms a tea and the Cajun Duo and my bill was $30! I have no problem paying for good food but small portions and big prices is not what I’m going for. I will not be returning to cotton patch anytime soon, they’re too many other home style cafes to choose from that are great food and do not break the bank. This review does not in anyway reflect on my waitress I was taken care of and checked on plenty and she got a good tip because she was not the issue.

Very good food and service. Compare with the one on the S Main Street, this CP is much better. Cobb salad taste fresh and soup yummy. Really love this lunch, only 6 dollars, but food quality not cheap. Joey, very good service, hospitality and really care about your feelings, very good, thank you Joey!

This by far is one of my favorite restaurants and its always impeccable service. Now I'll be honest I did order through door dash but the order was just thrown together. I ordered by of my children their own plates because it's an issue if u take off of one plate and give it to the other. So I order a veggie plate for one and the chicken strip for the other. They just put it all in one plate. Not too mention they know the kids means come with ice cream and your choice of either chocolate and caramel topping. Those didn't come either. Last night was a bit of an episode. And I was very surprised when I got the bag thinking why would they put ice cream with warm food... well.. they didn't. THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE LOCATIONS, MAYBE I CANT ORDER AFTER 8

No gravy with chicken fried steak and upon calling had to deal with a rude manager that promised return that never happened. 3rd time to order, I have never received a correct order. Their to go servers always forget something on order, their training measures must be very under par. Thank heaven there are plenty of other restaurants to order from that provide efficient customer service and better food.
