Steak nights on Thursdays are by far the best in gloucester £9.95 and includes a drink
Popped in for a meal with the family this afternoon and was more than surprised. From the outside the Avenue does not look what you expect, but the service and food is unbelievable. Myself, wife and two teenagers had the burger deal which came with an impressive selections of free drinks and all for £36. Pub was clean and welcoming staff very friendly. Will be returning for the steak night next Thursday. Beer garden is a great addition to the pub and long overdue, live entertainment has brought the pub back alive. Keep up the great work and see you soon

Started coming back to the avenue mid last year after a bad run of previous management here, Lee & Vicky have been a breath of fresh air and have brought the place back to life. Plenty of entertainment and a host of activities for the whole community. It’s a place linden and Gloucester can be proud of. Great work and the team are brilliant with all of our family 👏🫡

Brilliant local pub! Weekly entertainment!! Used more since Lee and Vicky have taken over than in previous 30yrs we've lived close by!! Reasonable, affordable prices, and great time every visit!! Keep doing what you're doing!!

Our "go to" local for a meal out, excellent as always and especially with 30% off mains this month.
Also have Inches cider on draught which is my current favourite. Looked after by Sharon who is great, what more could you ask for?

It was lovely popping down the road to The Avenue with the Wife for Thursday steak night. Steaks were cooked properly and as ordered, free beer with the steak and the Wife was happy with the different flavoured gins & tonics available. Super friendly service as always. The pub is also dog friendly.

A lovely pub that made me feel welcome like a proper local everyone is friendly none of the your not from around ere bs only popped in for one but spent the evening there. landlord and landlady very welcoming next time I'm down this neck of the woods I'll definitely be parking my truck up and go in again! a proper old school pub with proper values to customers also the young lady behind the bar was very friendly and made me feel welcome 10/10 keep up the good work

We had a wonderful night of skittles at the Avenue, followed by traditional pub food, the Fish & Chip was amazing, we even messed the order up but Team Kitchen sorted it, we couldn't have wished for better hosts with Vicky & Lee, thank you all
