Samurai Sushi

We were out for dinner with the family looking forward to sushi, a favorite for all of us. Very disappointing experience at this place. The waitress couldn't tell us what fish selections were on the platters, so we requested specific choices. She said that will cost more, so we asked how much? She didn't know how much, saying maybe 5 or 7 dollars (menu price was already $27.). When we pointed out our difficulty in ordering without the critical information she complained about how much she is paid and walked away from the table, never to return. After a few minutes another waitress showed up saying she was "helping" our first waitress. The second waitress couldn't answer our questions either and didn't make any attempt to get answers. The first waitress was observed serving tables around us, but never returned or offered any assistance or apology. We won't be going back. There are excellent sushi restaurants nearby that also offer excellent service with a welcoming and friendly attitude. Also, the manager never bothered checking on the tables but had time to chat with friends at the bar. Wow, hard to imagine anyone would run a service business this badly.

We love Samurai Sushi. Huge menu with all kinds of rolls. It's not just a sushi place, they have hibachi as well. Great prices, so if you're just trying sushi for the first time you can try a few different things to see what you like. If you are familiar with sushi, their specialty rolls are great. We've been several times and will return.

The service was quick and our waitress was awesome! We ordered Miso soup which came out quick and hot, it was very good and my daughter and I really enjoyed it. The sea weed salad was to die for! My husband and I ordered steak and shrimp hibachi which was very tasty and the beef tender. Our only concern was that it came out warm instead of HOT. We will definitely be doing back and I hope they can improve on the temperature of the food.

I will not be going back! I have always been a loyal customer and have visited the restaurant and I order on Ubereats all the time. I ordered sushi rolls tonight and put in the notes in THREE different sections that I wanted side eel sauce and side Mayo. I always ask for this and sometimes they do mess up but they offer to remake my rolls and let me pick it up so with my extra side sauces. This time they were awful!! They did not include my side sauces and didn’t even include soy sauce!! When I called to let them know they told me “we will correct the issue next time”. No!!! What about this time?? The manager was not on site and the employees did not offer any solution!! Didn’t even offer for me to come in and pick up the sauces my self!! Until I said can I pick them up that’s when she said yes! Terrible terrible customer service. Then she said I didn’t pay for the sauces so why would I get them? What?!! They have charged me plenty of times after I ordered the sauces and even sometimes not even charge me at all. No. Your employees messed up and didn’t add something I asked for 3 different times!! I will not be going back, I can’t count how many times I’ve orders from them and have recommended them but never again. I understand mistakes happen but you fix it with good customer service not with blaming the customers! Y’all have lost a valuable customer. Do better!

An amazing little gem in Glen Allen. Excellent sushi every time. They always have perfectly balanced combinations of dynamic flavors, textures, and temperatures, as well as elegant arrangements and creative new rolls on special consistently. Of all the sushi I've ever had, this place continues to impress me every single time. Their Hibachi options are absolutely amazing as well, with deliciously cooked shrimp, steak, and chicken availablr on top of a variety of good-sized vegetables that make for an excellent dinner or lunch. I've never been disappointed with this place. They have great customer service and incredible food. I would definitely recommend.

We visited Samurai Sushi this week for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. The service and atmosphere were great and we loved the food. This picture doesn't even do justice to how big the plate really is, it's a ton of food for the money! We also got a sushi roll that was delicious and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be going back!!
