The Mix

The pizza is yum and worth the money BUT…… there ALWAYS seems to be some mix up and even if you order an hour in advance it still takes longer. I’ve been to the shop 3 times now and so many people have been disappointed with the wait time (2hrs in some cases) and the mix ups with their orders. If you are willing to accept that there’s always mix ups and time delays and other issues then the pizza when you finally get it will be tasty.

2 stars for now ordered over 90 mins ago ring the restaurant to be told it's just came out of the oven I hope my whole $209.95 order is hot and fresh so will post another review when I can finally taste it ok so after 2 hours wait pizza arrived well most of our order arrived another call to get the missing pieces sorted they were very apologetic and got the rest of the order sent out with a $50 note from the driver as an apology mixed responses from the guys eating some of the pizza was ok but some was not apple crumble pizza was not edible at all but on a good note cheesy bread and loaded cheesy bread was awesome I think it was just above average but definitely not worth the money but definitely better than most pizza from other outlets in town

We were recommended The Mix from the manager at our motel. We didn’t fancy driving back out for dinner so went to their website and ordered online. Pizzas start at $23 up to the 13” around $32. The price did make me hesitate but I saw they did a meal deal for around $50 which included an 11” pizza (upgrade to a 13” for an extra $10) a garlic bread, their mushrooms and a dessert pizza of which we had the apple crumble and custard, not forgetting two drinks of choice. With delivery it was around $68 by the time we upgraded, we end up spending more than that at Domino Pizza. The delivery took a little longer than I thought but it was a weekend so it didn’t bother me. The delivery driver was very friendly and helpful. The pizza, I can honestly say I’ve never had a pizza with so many topping on, we opted for the meat lovers and there was plenty of meat. The garlic bread was cooked perfectly. The mushrooms were the tastiest stuffed mushrooms I’ve ever had. I could honestly eat them every day. We followed all this with an apple crumble pizza with a tub of custard that was included. When we make an order at domino or Pizza Hut we usually order 2 pizzas, garlic bread and we eat it all. The pizzas from The Mix were so stacked with toppings that we still have half a pizza left, half a garlic bread and 3/4 of the apple crumble pizza. So please don’t look at the menu and think it’s expensive. They are excellent value for money. If we didn’t live so far away we would be back.

I ordered pizzas for all my kids. I got sent the wrong delivery time and it was over an hour late and wrong order. Once food arrived I contacted the shop and they were extremely rude. Once I called back and said I want to complain the son of the shop owner begged me not to as he said his parents would get upset at him and said he will call me the next day to fix the issue. He did not and he has egnored phone calls since. He later dropped off the so called fixed pizza on my letterbox that was not cooked. I do not recommend ordering from this place. The price is not worth the food and the rudness. If the parents of this child can contact me ill be happy to show you the text.
