Long John Silver's

Anytime I want to eat seafood, I always go to Long John Silvers in Georgetown. After battling cancer, 3 chemo's, and 6 weeks of radiation, it feels so good to be able to eat foods again. I also get their crab cakes. These taste so good to me. It's like seafood helps with the healing. The place is clean, the condiment bar is always stocked, the employees I've seen here working show a good deal of pride in their jobs here. This is what I'm seeing when I go there to eat. I've known Jimmy for better then 30 yrs, and he's more then a just a good manager there at Long John Silvers, he's also a good friend. I will continue to eat at his store. His employees treat me more as a guest, then a customer. And that is always a plus. I always enjoy eating there, and will continue to eat there. Thank you all very much. Please like and share. When we visited the place was very crowded, but the line went quickly and smoothly. The food was hot and fresh, with a very short wait. The place seemed clean. The Health department inspection reports were posted on the wall for all to see. I skim through them and I saw for the last 4 months 96, 96, 96, 97. The only knock down mentioned in the report was food particle splatter on wall (I assume from fry pots), and the floor under 1 piece of equipment was dirty.

Waited 40 minutes for chicken and fish. Was told by the manager that there was a problem with the fryers and that was the only thing said. Meanwhile all of the workers were constantly in the parking lot smoking in groups and hanging out by their dumpster area. After getting the food it looked like it had been cooked in extremely old nasty oil. This place is disgusting!

Waited for 30 minutes and didn’t even get to order. People in front of me were waiting over an hour because they have no help and someone was new. They won’t let you in the restaurant you can only order from the outside window. Completely ridiculous for fast food fried fish. I won’t ever come back and I’ll be sure to tell everyone I talk to not to go to that long John silvers.

I only eat here because it's the cheapest place for fried fish. There is no drive through and that prevents me from going half the time. The other half is because the building is older and has that old time grime only a deep clean could remove. The employees are always friendly to me and the food has always gotten to me hot. I have never gotten sick despite less than ideal conditions of the place.

Very bad service. I waited 20 min for my order. She charged me for the wrong thing. Finally get my order and it's wrong. They ask what I ordered, I told them and she still put my order in wrong. Chicken and shrimp was only thing good. The fish was very thin and to much batter on it. Couldn't even taste the fish. Hush puppies tasted like burnt grease, unsweetened tea tasted soured. Was not worth 10.00 at all.

This was bad. Understaffed. Food had obviously sat out a while. Parts of the chicken had to be pulled off and were too hard to be edible. Our food came out 15-20 minutes apart on the same check, and we still had to go up because things were left off. When that came out wrong, we just went with it to get out of there.
