I have been frequenting this shop since I began working in the shopping center a few months ago. In that time, I’ve grown to greatly appreciate the community - oriented atmosphere that the employees create. Reese and Corbin, along with the other whose names I unfortunately cannot currently remember, are friendly, prompt, and accurate. The food is good, don’t get me wrong, but it’s the dedicated employees who’ve forged relationships with customers that have made this particular sandwich shop stand out from competitors.

Normally I give good reviews, however I can't help with this one. First of all I have been to this and other Firehouse locations and enjoyed them. This time not so much. My wife and I ordered two subs and drinks etc. When we got to the drink machine there was no ice, no paper towels, other than a roll sitting on a table close by and hardly anything else. When we asked for ice we were told it would be a while. We had to ask again after our order was ready. We were handed a cup of ice. There were employees four I believe, hardly anyone to serve, maybe five guests while we were there. Tables were not being cleaned, still no ice was put in the machine. No explanation or apology or excuse. Also no bottles of hot sauce in sight nor did anyone ask if we would like some. Our food was not prepared well, not hot, and sloppily put together. I understand the covid situation but no masks were worn by employees as well. Probably won't be back until it's fixed.

It's been a long while since I have been to Firehouse Subs. I actually had a coupon for a free medium Hook and Ladder from T-Mobile. Their warm Subs are real nice contrast to all of the cold sub shops out there. It was absolutely delicious, as the mustard was a little sweet. Not your typical mayo, lettuce and tomato sub for sure.

Every time we decide to get food here, there is always an issue. One time we placed an order and waited 30 minutes just to be told that they were out of lettuce. Another time we placed an order online just to receive a phone call that they were out of chicken. I asked for a refund and was told that I would have to come in or call the following day because nobody on shift knew how it process a refund. I went in that next day and placed the same order and waited 20-30 minutes. It wasn’t busy and plenty of employees were there. The issue was that they were so focused on talking to each other and not making the two simple sandwiches I ordered. I do not know how this place is still in business! One of the employees told me that the manager purposely makes sure that they run out of things. I believe it!

Finally, a place that makes a sub the way I ordered it, with extra onions! The bread was not warm and seemed kind of stale. So that sucked. Overall, the sub places do NOT make my sandwiches the way I order them. That's the reason I rarely come, but I do enjoy the flavor. Check the photo extra onions finally.

got two subs from this location... all I'm going to say is really... you order a hot sub and it's not even hot... subs was made backwards.... slices of onions and tomatos were thick cut... this location gotta do better... especially compared to other logistics I the area

I had the most pleasant experience at the Firehouse in Garner. It was my first time at a Firehouse Subs and I have to say...they were the best sandwiches I have ever had (highly recommend the club and the steak & cheese subs!). When I went in the other day, they were pretty busy, but the team working got my wife and I’s subs out quickly. I had the opportunity to talk to the manager, Nathan. He was friendly and happy to help me and other customers. I could tell he was working hard to get all of our orders out to us. I wish I had tried this place sooner- can’t wait to go back! Thank you Nathan & team!

Never really like Firehouse Subs. I saw something online about the Chicken Gyro Sub. I love Gyros figured I would give it a try.. Order it with no onions. It came with onions, I went back and said I wanted no onions. They took the onions off. I could have done that. Luckily I'm not allergic to onions I just don't like them. I'm sure one of my Coworkers will enjoy the sub because I'm not eating it. They did give me a free bag of chips for my trouble which is why they get 2 stars instead of 1.
