The food and service was great my only issue and it is a personal one is I booked a table for two and we were given a table right by the bar so we felt like we were being watched whilst we ate but apart from that it was a lovely meal and will definitely be back.

Mark couldnt have been more helpful in making sure our seating for a family celebration of 15 was spot on. A warm welcome when we arrived. The food was served timely, was hot, and everyone enjoyed it. Sarah, who served us, was brilliant, catering for all our needs throughout the day. Thankyou all, we look forward to coming again.

Always enjoy the Podger been using it over45 years but must state found the Pub to on the cold side

Great atmosphere, great service from very friendly staff. The waiter helped with advice on the menu which was very extensive on choices having placed our oder our starters arrived in around 15/20 minutes piping hot and delicious our main course then arrived which also was nice and hot and because it arrived on a cast iron skillet remained hot throughout.
All in all a great experience and would definitely go again

Myself and a friend met at the Podger for food and drinks. We were given a warm welcome by the bar staff who helped us choose the best place to sit for our needs.
Ordering the food was made easy and and we were given choice on how we wanted our food cooked
We were amazed by the quality of the food for the price we paid.
All the staff were polite and helpful and I would our visit 5***** and will be going back soon
