Panera Bread

I give them a 5 because when they are staffed this location is awesome. HOWEVER they have been having serious staffing issues again. I go here 2 to 3 times a week for breakfast. I order on the tablet to avoid counter line and make their job easier. On Friday February 18th I waited over 12 minutes for an Egg and cheese on Brioche. My egg is over easy. I got the sandwich which was piping hot and the egg was completely cooked through. I ate it unhappily because I just did not have the energy to go fight about this again since the people working have nothing to do with staffing, they are there working. Could someone PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS GOOD from leadership get involved and fix the Gainesville stores staffing issues.

This is the wildest Panera bread you will go to. The kind of people whole put balls on their truck hitches go herd. You’ll find 7 year old kids face down screaming on the ground. The toilets have an unreal sound system — so loud, so piercing, nightclubs in the area should take note. I couldn’t hear myself potty. The elderly who visit take their purchases more seriously than their home-care. If there’s an elderly couple in-front of you, be prepared to wait many, many minutes as they discuss each baked good and really consider their sandwich customization options, The staff are doing their best and very sweet… but the overall energy here is unbelievably chaotic.

My wife was going by Panera and asked if I wanted anything to bring home. I ordered a salad to be ready at the Rapid Pick-Up Shelf. What I ordered: Greek Salad $7.69 French Baguette Extra Red Grape Tomatoes Extra Pepperoncini Extra Greek Dressing Extra Black Pepper Croutons No Kalamata Olives No Red Onions I was trying to decide on a full size or 1/2 size and was “kinda” glad I decided on the full. What I got: A large plastic salad that was barely filled to the 1/2 way point. (Maybe the same size as the 1/2 salad if it was in a small bowl filled. My extra Pepperoncini was ONE pepper! My extra croutons amounted to 6 croutons! My buddy extra dressing was 2 - 1/2 filled containers! Lettuce portion was the size of a small salad portion! When I took off the lid my wife asked why I asked for “light” feta cheese as it was literally a dusting of cheese. Not one single crumble just some cheese dusted on top! Such a disappointment and for what I received wasn’t worth 1/2 of what I paid. It’s been a while since we visited this location and it will certainly be a while before we go back.
