The 3 stars is for the ambiance of the place. Beautiful restaurant and seemed like they invested well on it too. Plus the girl of the counter tonight was insane. Was surprised but how she was taking orders and serving without even getting stressed. The place was packed too. Please give her a raise. Improvement: Food was pretty uninspired. The beef was very chewy not sure if they used the right cut off meat or didn't cook it well enough. The chicken bowl was too sweet even though they claimed it was spicy. In general the food didn't integrate well with the spices and flavor was confusing. This place has great potential, just not there yet.

Noodle Wave in Garland has always been my favorite Thai restaurant. I decided to try this location since I was meeting a friend in Frisco. We ordered the papaya salad (Lao’s style) and they didn’t have it like the one in Garland area. We also ordered crab fried rice and drunken noodles. Overall Food is sweet here and doesn’t taste authentic. One thing I wanted to mention about this location is since they have an opened kitchen so I can see all the chefs cooking. All of them are young Mexicans chefs so they probably just cook from the recipes. As I sat down at my table, I already knew the food wont be authentic. So I won’t ever come back to this location. Pretty disappointed!

Good location by 121, very convenient location. Vegetarians are welcome here, most menu can be modified. The restaurant also serves Halal food, so no pork dishes. I had Saturday special which was a plate of rice with chicken curry and chicken Pad Kee Mow, plus a mango ice cream. The curry was a tad too sweet, so I got full very soon and had to pack the noodle to go. Food tends to be sweet, not spicy enough. Lunch was quickly served, seatings are also enough. Service is also good and attentive.

I love coming for lunch because there is a great lunch combo deal! I’m obsessed with the ice cream as well! Sadly, last night we were told there were very few waiters and few cooks for dinner and we would have to wait longer than usual. Im grateful that we were told ahead of time. The staff is very attentive. I will definitely be returning soon!

I don’t think you can go wrong with Noodle Wave. Delicious Thai food anytime you go. While I understand they have many wonderful options on their menu, I always go back to Crispy Chicken Green Curry, my absolute favorite! And the Crab Cheese Rangoons make for a yummy starter.

Delicious food but AWFUL service! I loved the food, though the wait time was long it was worth it. However, my server Nhien had a rude demeanor, she was constantly leaving and going to the back at the kitchen just talking. I asked for a to go box and when she brought it she took my plate and transferred the food into the box herself. She told us to hold and reuse our utensils after appetizers to use for our main dish. When asked for chopsticks she never even acknowledged me and then came later bringing it while walking fast, never stopping to hand it. Overall, she was a very impolite server but the food was amazing! Make sure to watch it on the spice level though, it can be very spicy at times.

We came here for a dinner on a weekday night and it took over an hour to get a table since we’re a large party. The staff was friendly overall but I’d have to give it 4 stars because most of their popular dishes weren’t available which is why we went there. The other food we got was very good too.
