Biryani Bowl

Great Biryani. Came visiting and loved their Biryani. Already got them two new customers. The location is small and perhaps doing takeout is better. Service is done cheerfully. Full marks to them! The Spicy level is not for all so order spice level according to what you can handle. They give you yogurt Raita and biryani Salan (spices) on side to adjust spices further at home.

We are regular customers here. Have ordered boneless chicken dum biryani. Chicken smelled and tasted stale with brownish inside. We called them to let them know the same. Guy at the counter asked us to bring back the food so they can verify. We took it back. He mentioned that they didn't receive any complaints from anyone else and that it tasted good. We didn't feel that way as I tasted it and it was very stale. He was considerate though and offered to exchange which is good on their part. we took paneer biryani instead. I would not have worried much even if they didn't offer to exchange. My only concern is eating chicken that went bad without even realising and then falling sick. One cannot take risk with stale food especially chicken/meat.

Visited Fremont couple if weeks back and got chance to have dine-in at Biryani Bowl. Its sufficiently nice spacious place to come over with family. But the star here is Food!! Very delicious and authentic Indian Cuisine. Mutton Biryani was really good. Mutton was very nicely tenderized and was complementing very well spiced in Biryani. Also tasted Boneless Chicken Biryani which will be my go to order on next visit. Kheer here is good too. Overall with food, service - this is a must try place if you're looking for Authentic Biryani. Hoping they'll have Haleem next time, which was unavailable on my previous trip.
