I’ve been visiting Cafe Rous for the last 3 years and for the most part have been very happy with quality of food I’ve purchased… but …. Since the beginning of this year (2022) the quality has deteriorated dramatically.
Fried foods taste like the oils in vats hasn’t been change in weeks. Toasties taste like fish. This is the third time I’ve thrown the food in the bin. This is the last time I’ll be frequenting the establishment. Very disappointed customer.

Can't really not give this place 5 stars, nothings really great about it, but its also fantastic at the same time.. you'll understand when you're working close by an nothing else is around, go enjoy a schnityy burg and some fresh hot chips

Awesome Caltex / Cafe on the start of the road out to the North Mole. Out door picnic area, excellent cafe with large dining area. Food and coffee are excellent, and the fuelling area is well setup catering for both regular and larger vehicles / trucks

Nice food get lunch from here. Just stopped by and picked up fresh fruit salad blue berry muffin and banana bread can't go wrong 🤙🏼

Went to the Caltex to fillup my car and guess what, its a prepaid site only. Very poor way to run a fuel station. Dont bother going here for your fuel needs.

I was installing wallpaper there for few hours ,and I never seen friendlier stuff. Doesn't matter who was serving customers they all had friendly chat and knew their customers by name even . I got cappuccino for my self while working and it was by far best cappuccino in mug I had in loooong time!

Cafe Rous is a great place to start the day when your hungry, I go there nearly every morning for a steak burger, some days I select something else from their menu but the steak burger is great value and chef is good at what she does so I would recommend this place to anyone, oh and the coffee is great too.

This is the best place to visit. Friendly, hardworking staff. Great food and a great chef. If it’s not perfect they will endeavour to make it so. I have been coming here since they opened.
