Oh my MOD! OK this place goes over and above and beyond! If subway and authentic Italian pizza had a baby it would be MOD!!
As soon as you walk in your greeted by a friendly crew that I obviously enjoy working there. They have a few combos already picked, I ordered the Caspian while the other person in my party went for a custom made. Both pizzas were absolutely delicious and we were both amazed at how many fresh ingredients there were for toppings! The sauces were on point, the meats and vegetables all tasted fresh, and the staff took their time explaining how everything worked.
If you don’t know about the MOD philosophy, take a minute and go to their website. It’s pretty incredible ! Being a former special educator and working with at risk youth my entire career, this is the kind of business that you pray comes to your community! Well worth the trip, plenty for the money, My only regret is that I don’t have enough money to bring her franchise to the area that I live in. People would love to have this many fresh options! Two 11” pizzas fully loaded, two drinks, $27 and change. SOLD!

Tried a mini "Lucy" pizza for the first time with requested recommendations from Kat (who assembled the pizza). Was planning on eating one slice and taking rest of it back to the office. Ended up enjoying the whole thing there. Fantastic! Her recipe is now my standard. Simply added bacon and spicy chicken sausage.
Next time, "One large Kat to go, please."
Third time back, got a Mod size with hot honey drizzled on it and ate in. For the 4th time, I think I'll get the same.

My go to Pizza… Pesto sauce with mozzarella cheese, roasted garlic, roasted red peppers, and mushrooms.
Home run! EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
Also have had their red sauce, basil, and tomato.. just a simple classic pie. Full of flavor.

Edited: have been here several times since. They always make a great vegan pizza. This week Mod added vegan plant based sausage! What I had was tasty although the amount they put on the pie was pretty minuscule.
Vegan cheese and many vegetable options. Tasty. Well done. Quick.

I like the build your own pizza concept - which is what makes MOD unique. I've had pizza all over the US so it's hard to say MOD is among the best, but it definitely has its place and I will continue to go here. The folks were friendly, restaurant was clean, food was made quick.

2022 update - Still a 5-star experience!
Friendly staff made our second visit to a MOD Pizza a pleasant one.
Made up our own masterpiece pizzas that were delicious and served up in 5 minutes.
Two side notes for MOD - the anchovies are the saltiest that I have ever had and I have been eating anchovies for a long time. Also, please bring back the roasted cauliflower!
