Sperry's Restaurant

Visited while passing through the Franklin area (celebrating a pregnancy). Snagged a same day Sunday evening reservation for 7:45. Pretty location, dining room was full for a Sunday evening. While we weren’t greeted quickly, we were noticed by the wait staff and greeted very kindly by them. Seated within a few minutes. Our server, Phillip, took EXCELLENT care of us - very professional and personable and attentive. We really appreciated his thorough service and graciousness as we dined past closing time (our own fault - we took awhile to decide on our food!). French onion soup, clam chowder, salads, salmon, filet - all delicious and cooked to perfection. We enjoyed the espresso brownie dessert and coffee to end the evening. Highly recommend!

My wife and I love Sperry's and this location. As a tradition we always have late lunch here sometime after New Years. We brought my wife's parents here and were in a bit of a rush, but our friendly server Sarai (who has taken care of us before) was very attentive and made the experience wonderful. We love the food and drinks at Sperry's, the ambience is a plus. Thank you for a good experience, and during a time when good workers are hard to find. See you next time!

My daughter and I had an early Thursday night meal on our way back to Tuscaloosa AL. Our server was adorable! He gave us very good descriptions along with recommendations. The crab cakes were full of jumbo lump crabmeat and the house made roumalade sauce tasty. My daughter enjoyed fettuccine Alfredo. Their coffee was good too! I will definitely return next time I’m in Nashville.

We have done our real estate team holiday dinner here four times over the last few years, and it is always our favorite place. We love getting the private dining room at the Coolsprings location. The staff is always excellent and knowledgeable, and never misses a beat. Food is absolutely delicious, and they always have a good selection. My personal favorite are the crabcakes, salad bar, creamed spinach, and lobster mac & cheese… Can’t forget the bananas foster and crème brûlée. This place is delightful and never fails! Our whole team loves it!

This was our first time in Sperrys and we went to celebrate my wife's birthday as a family. Let me start by saying, the food was very good. The ribeye was better than average. The Lobster tail was good. They have a great salad bar and the items were extremely fresh. The calamari was the best I've had in a ling time anywhere. The shoestring fries and the sweet potato fries were great...and the twice baked potato was very good. The only food complaint was the Tuna sashimi which was not only cooled, but way overcooked. So, since they are required to sear it, it tells me it is not sashimi grade in the first place. 🤔 The main issue is that it's very crowded, loud, and the lighting is dim. So, it's hard to have any conversation with your table or the wait staff. We were seated exactly at the time reserved. But, they took us to the worst table in the place. It was next to the entry to the restroom hall, and sandwiched between a wall and a serving area. So, on top of being loud, we were in a heavy traffic lane. The old drunk people at the next table had no concept of the voice volume. We asked to be seated elsewhere when we first saw the table and were given on 1 option a dew feet away on the same walkway. Even though I could see other rooms and empty tables, I was told that they were promised to the regulars who require specific tables when dining in. So, if you are a new customer or just regular folks...you take what you get. Just be ware. I'll probably go back for the calamari, fries, and salad bar alone. But I'll try to request a quiet table next time.

I informed the waitress of my food allergies prior to ordering and it was a big ordeal to try to figure out what I could order. She was aware of my allergy to eggs and dairy. She did not submit this to the kitchen as they plated my food with a creamy Mayo sauce - Mayo contains egg. I traded plates with a co-worker after they tasted the sauce and ate my coworkers oyster plate instead. If you have a food allergy, this is not the restaurant for you.

The atmosphere and decor are welcoming. The staff is friendly and professional. Our server was knowledgeable on the specials. I asked what was a good pinot noir and she told me her favorite and the reason. We had clam chowder, steak, salad bar, garlic Mashed potatoes, and carrot cake. Everything was cooked perfectly, well-seasoned. It was delicious. Met friends for lunch. We didn't have a reservation yet they accommodated our party of seven. I had the crabcake salad. Several chose the salad bar, two chose the Thai chicken salad, and one ordered the reuben with a side of fries. Staff and manager were friendly. Our server was great.
