Blendz

Lovely atmosphere of an old winery. Best place for a date! We sat down on some couches and got comfortable over a few glasses of wine. I see a great party spot for the boys to enjoy beers and shots sitting at the bar. We loved making my own wine with the guidance of the bartenders. Best idea is how I was able to bottle it and take it home for another evening. They made a custom label I sent to them through my phone so it truly was my own custom wine! Great gift idea for Christmas.

We were visiting from out of town and found this gem. Our day was long, full of hiking and sightseeing. It had just started to rain and we were looking for a place to sit down and have a few drinks. Having a young son, comfortable places are few and far between. My wife ordered a glass of wine, one of their custom blends, and we sat on the huge red couch. Being somewhat of a wine purist, I was suspicious of the blend being made on the spot but it was really tasty. The atmosphere was awesome; the shopkeeper went out of his way to make sure we were doing okay. If we ever are in Flagstaff again, we'll be stopping in. Thanks to them for being an island in the insanity of traveling with a 2 yo.

NOTE: I'm open to revisiting and reviewing again after service. We built our Sunday expecting to be able to visit Blendz to end our day. We arrived a little before 5:30pm on a Sunday, and the sign was off, the door was locked, and no hours were posted. Someone was inside who wouldn't acknowledge us (but possibly because they were closing the register which I understand). If you are amending your hours or closing early, provide some notice if possible, or at the minimum put something on the door. For now I just have to interpret the hours and service of this location as unpredictable and unclear.
