Friendly, welcoming pub, comfortable seating. Free car parking in a quiet location close to the main A27. Great range of good, well kept, ale and beer and well-cooked pub standards available. Good breakfast offering, plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Comfortable bed. Silly little points such as the room carpet was stained, mould around the shower, stopped it being rated higher than we did. Not a fan of pre-ordered breakfast, tend to over order and waste food.

Lovely meal and friendly service staff. Exceptionally busy, which apparently it is every day. Really recommend booking. Very good food at sensible prices, we'll be back (having remembered to book of course)

Booked for an overnight as close to Goodwood fir the Revival We would definitely stay again Plenty of parking at the rear. Safe and off the main road. Lively courtyard for drinks and food. Staff were exceptional and could not have done more for us. Packed breakfast arranged as we were leaving before breakfast service. Room was comfortable. A bit tired in places. But perfectly OK for the night. Evening food and drink very good. Again the staff were excellent.

Visited here twice in the last 4 weeks on both occasions we hadn't booked, although the pub was very busy the staff went out of there way to accommodate us and found us a table, the service is friendly warm and welcoming, the food is excellent and fairly priced and a good range of drinks are available, this visit I had the baked fish pie which was superb and highly recommended

What an absolutely gorgeous pub with great food. We ended our 10k hike here and wanted a refreshment and to grab a bite. Instead we had a perfect burger and a lovely minestrone with some alcohol free drinks. Staff was really nice and navigated us through the pub whilst they were all friendly and smiley. It's a 40 min drive away from us but it's surly not the last ime we've been. Look at the pictures of the burger!!!

We stopped here for lunch today on the way home from Chichester. It wasn't a planned stop, but the usual pub we visit didnt have any tables available, even though there seemed to be plenty of empty ones. So we thought we would see what was in Bosham. We drove past the Bulls Head, noticed they had a sign for mussels and seafood and so turned around to give it a try. So glad we did! The service was impeccable from the moment we walked through the door, a really friendly greeting from the barman and nothing seemed too much trouble. We found a table and in no time at all had a drink in front of us. The cider was really good. I have been wanting mussels for a couple of weeks now, so it was good to see them on the menu. Wow, they were the best mussels I have had in a very long time, possibly the best I have ever had! They were so fresh and tasty and the sauce was delicious too. My husband had the liver and bacon, which he also raved about. I really wanted dessert but sadly even the small portion of mussels (there are two sizes on offer) beat me. We will just have to make a return trip!

Had lunch here. Excellent fish pie, full of fish, excellent, topped off with mash and grilled cheese, washed down with a great pint of London Pride. Nothing not to like. Will go back next time in the area.
