Hillman's Bakery

Went in to get pies for the 4th of July weekend. Didn't expect much from the outside look of the building, but don't let that fool you. I was totally surprised upon walking in by their many options of goodies behind the glass! They had plenty of pies to choose from, and their service was friendly and kind. The pies were great. Our favorite was blueberry and raspberry! They were still warm when I bought them! Topped with vanilla ice cream, they made the perfect dessert for a celebration.

I've been coming here since high school back in the late 90's and even went this morning! I occasionally bring my kiddo so he can enjoy the goodness, too 😁 The staff is very friendly and there's always a nice variety as long as you get there earlier in the day! Good things go very quickly here lol I highly recommend their homemade cheese lasagna. It's an item that's not always available so call ahead. It's not much more than a frozen store bought lasagna, only WAY BETTER! A quick easy dinner... and don't forget to grab a homemade pie for dessert 😋

I tried this place out twice. I was hoping the first batch of sweets were just an off day. Everything I ordered tasted the same and stale, even though the pastries were different types. I went back a few weeks ago and the cheesecake was the only thing semi-decent but it’s definitely not made by the staff. The filling tastes like the same mass produced stuff you get everywhere. I’m not going back. The vibe is very judgmental and rude. You’re better off going to a grocery store to get baked goods, they taste better.
