Best Stromboli sandwich I've ever had!! So glad I made the jaunt away from the highway for something other than fast food. It's mainly carryout but they were kind enough to let me dine in and take a break as I drove cross country. Super friendly! Would definitely stop again.

Update (3/13/22) - updated review is pending, today we called and they are delivering to our location. Great Pizza! 4 Stars - only because delivery is sketchy, apparently we live just outside their 5 mile radius and it's up to the discretion of whomever is delivering that day if they will deliver to us.
[Original review - I was ready to give Gardo's 5 stars - great pizza, better than the others we've had for delivery. But alas, they changed their mind and refuse to deliver to us now one month after getting our 1st pizza delivered from them. A 10 minute drive, shorter than Twisted Tomato that WILL deliver to us!]

Super amazing pizza.. sauce is homemade and fresh as eff.. the humans working are some of the friendliest I’ve ever gotten a pizza from.. they don’t skimp out on the pepperoncinis either..

This was our second and last visit to Gardos. Most frozen pizzas have more toppings and flavor than their product. A great disappointment since they are a local restaurent and close to our house.

Some of the best pizza on the northside of Evansville. The pizzas, their sides, and salads are all great. Highly recommend.

A sign by door said not to come in and to order from the car. So we got the number and called them to order a sandwich from the parking lot (while watching people come in and out of the shop). The sandwich was said to take 30 minutes... for a sandwich... and it is not like they were very busy, so that's ridiculous. It was Sunday, so we expected to have the special $1 off like it said on the website but nope. They said they couldn't do that because of covid, like that's a real reason not to do specials. The food was a 3 star, the service was a 2 star, but how they run a business is a 1 star.
