Wendy's

Gotta be honest. Wendys isn't my #1 pick when it comes to fast food; however, it has been a place my family has eaten at all of my life. I say it like that because it was a place my family liked to meet up to actually eat inside together. For instance, maybe after a day out shopping, after a ball game or if either one of my parents got a hankering for a "salad bar." Lol It was this exact location in fact. My Dad LOVED the strawberry and banana fruit salad from their salad bar. Times do change! Lol Anywho-. This current visit was just a drive thru pick up. They nailed all the things you find important in a drive thru order. #1-Order was taken easily and immediately. #2-Everything I planned to order was available to me. #3-Service was pleasant. Quick and friendly. #4-Complete Order was received without any error. #5- Order was wrapped cleanly and bagged nicely. #6- Fry's were piping hot. Lastly, #7- I was finally able to try the Strawberry Frosty. Soooo....I'd say, yeah! That was a successful late nite dinner visit.

We was out and about. Got hungry. So we all agreed to stopping here. Always different going into a restaurant from out of town. Kinda of the same feeling as back home. They messed up on my order. But, they didn't even argue. They said sorry for the mix up. And gave me not just another sandwich but even gave me a big order of fries for apologies and for the extra wait. Every restaurant should take lessons like that.

If you have at least 30 minutes to wait in the drive thru every single time you go then it’s great but if you want your food in a timely manner you should go anywhere else but here. This has always been the absolute worst Wendy’s in Evansville as far as wait times inside or in drive thru. Either replace management with someone who can actually motivate the employees to do their jobs or shut the place down. Nobody wants to wait 30 minutes for a chicken biscuit.

Worst experience ever had a simple order of x2 2 for 4 burger and nuggets no substitutions the cashier was slow at the job and seemed untrained the manager was absent and unhelpful to the employees the lobby was not kept clean and the customer behind me Paid with cash all 1 dollar bills the cashier had to stop and give it back to the customer and asked her to count it. I'm not sure if he wasn't able to count that high or what was happening. The food was made correctly but by the time I had gotten it I could have made it myself I waited 49 minutes for 8 chicken nuggets and 2 burgers. This is disappointing to me because it's really a management issue when the employees fail with no one to help.

So we didn't have a large order and it was drive-thru. We just didn't get the sauces to go with our nuggets not a big deal, but the manager when my husband called to mention something to them said we'll just come get some more sauce will give it to you I didn't say she was sorry didn't say sorry for the inconvenience. Exceptionally poor customer service and rude on the phone
