Literally the best chinese restaurant in surrey. Get the deep froed aubergine.

We went there 15 minutes before they closed and they accommodated a group of 6 of us. The food was superb and delicious. The service was good and i will be back. The aubergine with salt and chilli was fantastic.

I have been fortunate enough to eat in fine restaurants all over the world. La Orient is not pretentious and never fails to deliver on quality time after time.... I’ve been eating here for over 20 years and if I ever had to choose my last meal .... it would be La Orient.

Last week was the first time we visited this good restaurant. But It is surely not the last time. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the courteous service, with the great dishes and wine and with the decent cost. We will absolutely come back soon.

My family and I have been frequenting La Orient in Esher High Street for close on 10 years. In that time the standard has never faltered: Consistently great food, excellent relaxed ambiance and superb service by management and team who have all been there since I can remember. Love the place. Possibly the best restaurant in the whole of South West London. (And heavens have I wasted money at some places!).
We've booked for tomorrow night - can't wait.

Pretty tasty food. Starters arrived promptly. Long wait for main course but in a party of 20 plus, so understandable. Waitress getting stressed out, though, making the experience less pleasent. Would recommend overall, however.

Had lunch here on New Years Eve. Food was very good. Polite prompt service. Good selection of nice wines...not what you would expect in a Chinese restaurant. Staff were very patient as we stayed longer than normal hours but they did not push us to leave.

This is my favourite Chinese restaurant in Esher, Surbiton and Kingston combined. Incredible service, excellent food and convenient parking behind the restaurant. It's well worth the visit.
