Good food. We ordered more than we could eat, so tested some things. A cold slow day and we spent hours there. Out of the way place, not for city people with faint ways, but good food and vast menu. Must add, great tasteing Bloody Mary.

Ordered the broasted chicken, it was rancid. I don't mean to exaggerate, but it was really bad. The whole table could smell it. We had to send it back and got a burger instead. No refund or discount was offered, and we didn't ask for one. I don't know how the chef didn't smell it, it was like a dumpster on a hot summer. The cheese soup had an odd flavor as well, but I ate the whole thing. I'll know by tomorrow if that was a bad decision.

Great staff/owner. Stopped in for a drink on Christmas Eve (Sounds like they would also be open on Christmas Day) Owner was a sweetheart and treated us like a local.

The food on this particular day was terrible. The milk for the potatp, bacon soup was curdled and tasted burnt. The chicken sandwich was ok but they warmed up the buns on the grill and they were burnt also.
