The first time I came in there was a lady working the counter that was very pushy and rude. I felt I wouldn't return because she was just rude for no reason, maybe it was an off day because today the entire staff was there and was super friendly and quick moving. As a small business I'm sure they are doing a lot to keep in business so I am glad I returned and had a wonderful experience. Great donuts and a friendly place!!

Elgin Donuts was just what I was needing this morning! The donuts are fresh and their flakey croissant kolaches were so good! I probably should have ordered more! Next time I’ll set the ham, cheese, and jalapeño croissant with a few more donuts. I’m a fan of their cake donuts. Yum

I love Elgin Donuts. They folks that run this place are so nice and are very efficient during the morning rush hours. Seating inside is limited but most folks take their orders to go anyway. I only every get the donuts and kolaches and have yet to be disappointed. Very tasty and fresh.

Always good breakfast treats! My favorite combo is an apple fritter and croissant sandwich with a peace tea.

Update: Tried the donuts. They are the best in town... That said. Get donuts in another town.
Minimum purchase of $5 on card. Maybe just maybe they're good enough to overlook that.. but I wouldn't know it was my first time there. It's a horrible customer experience to be told buy more pay cash. I'm not going to buy a dozen donuts if I don't know if I like them.

Best donuts in town & great variety too! You get delicious pick from donuts to breakfast sandwiches, kolaches, & breakfast tacos. The breakfast sandwiches are our faves, we always end up walking out with them along with some donuts! Definitely need to check them out! They're super friendly & have social distance signs on their door & inside!
