Canarino's

We started coming here weekly during the pandemic and have tried most of there flavors, our favorites are cookies & cream and coconut! This place is our go to spot and we always bring our family members here every time they are in town and take all our friends! they all love it! Unfortunately, we have encountered unfriendly staff here on multiple occasions. Today was probably the worst, my husband asked Mia if his gelato could include extra Oreo cookies chucks and was told “you get what you get”. It was really embarrassing especially because our family was with us. We were so taken back by her comment that I even forgot to order my scoop and I had to get back in line to order it. After coming here weekly for 2 years we are officially done.

I was very hesitant coming here because of the low reviews on Yelp, but I sure was proven wrong! I hadn't had gelato in a long time too. The inside is cute, and it was pretty calm too. I got a modern kind of farmhouse vibe. I had seen a lot of reviews on Yelp on how the service was bad, but when we were there, the service was pretty good, and our server was pretty nice and sweet. Anyways, the main reason that I was proven wrong was because of the amazing sorbet and gelato!! All of them were super bold in their taste and flavors. I had a chance to try the vanilla, mango, ruby chocolate, and a dark chocolate (I can't recall the actual name). The vanilla was super creamy, probably the softest and creamiest out of all of the ones I tried. It was also very buttery, both in the texture and flavor, it was quite intriguing. The mango was amazingly refreshing, but also quite tart. It really tasted like as if I was biting into a real mango. That was pretty much it for the mango. The ruby chocolate on the other hand was very interesting. I still couldn't distinguish what it reminded me of. I kept finding myself eating it some more trying to figure out what it tasted like. It was more like a milk chocolate, and slightly reminded me of fondant? Finally, the dark chocolate, probably my favorite one of the night, competing with the ruby chocolate. The dark chocolate was insanely rich, and was actually slightly fudgey. It was definetly the thickest, and the most dense. It reminded me a lot of a brownie. Overall, everything was very impressive, and everything I had that night was so luscious and delicious! I'll definetly come back for more, and I can't wait to try some of their new flavors!

Great gelato and great service. But be forewarned about their hours. When they say they close at 10, they close at 10. Even if you've been waiting in line for 20 minutes. Happened to me last night. Served the approximately 15 people in front of me, when I got to the front, they said it's 10:00, sorry we're closed

This gelato cafe is where it's at. Good prices, amazing gelato, friendly and fast service. There's always a line here because of these things, but it moves pretty quickly and is well worth the wait. Definitely gotta mix some flavors up if you want, the combos can make their gelato go to the next level.
