My GoTo for a fish supper. The proprietress and her son are delightful folks. The order, fresh fried while you wait, as good as you get and the portions are huge c/w a few onion rings, gratis.
Price is right... two thumbs up!

Good chippy with excellent staff. My only issue is I didn't get to put my own salt and vinegar on my chips. Apart from that it was excellent.

So I wouldnt say this is the best fish and chips in the world but taking into account for the cost, portion size, unlimited sauces and a nice place to sit and eat, I'd happy come back.

Good fish and chip shop, something that has been lacking around the area. Not your typical greasy chips though, they do fluffy, chunky triple cooked chips which are somewhere in between pub chips and Belgian fries. Whether that's good or bad depends on what you're craving I suppose.
Prices are reasonable for Edinburgh and the rest of the food is tasty. If you get the meatballs, get a sauce because they can be a bit dry.
