Went 4 days in a row for breakfast. Lovely friendly welcoming staff. Beautiful fresh food. Loved the fact that they had big mugs for tea and my husband said they had the nicest coffee.

Had a great Scottish breakfast here when I visited Edinburgh to catch up with an old friend.
The shop is cozy, the service is very nice and attentive, and both the coffee and the breakfast were cooked with love.
I forgot to take a photo of the breakfast itself, but it has 1 slice of toast, an egg with orange yolk(I'm more used to the yellow yolks, love the orange one more), baked beans, a sausage, a slice of non fatty bacon, and a slice of haggis and another of black pudding. I'm not a fan of the latter 2, but I tried both anyway.

Wonderful little place just off the main beat of the market. Fun atmosphere, cozy, and the food was great. Has a good variety of food too, including a breakfast menu that looks fantastic. A little taste of Scottish food. Would definitely visit again in the future!

Went here with my fam for a much needed breakfast after a busy day awaited us! We were the first big group of the morning and the waitress took such excellent care of us, she was so sweet and funny, it made the overall breakfast experience all the better, plus the food was super excellent too! I’m defo coming back here for breakfast next time I’m in Edinburgh!

The food is excellent. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is good. My favorite pie is the cheese and onion one but they are all good to be honest. It is local food served and cooked from local folks. Just great!

Really good & reasonably priced food! We had the scotch pie and haggis. Staff was very welcoming, will return!

If we had discovered the restaurant earlier, we would have gone there more often during our Edinburgh stay. Inexpensive, very tasty and an incredibly friendly and authentic waiter who gave us personal recommendations for the rest of the trip.
The next time we visit Edinburgh we will definitely stop by again.
PS. You should try the Haggis ;-)

Wonderful small place perfect for a great Scottish breakfast experience. Very cosy and the staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. It was too cold to eat outside. The breakfast menu had some favourites such as haggis and black pudding. Right in the middle of town. Do drop in if you are in the area. Highly recommend.
