First time here and we had a lovely Roast dinner with the family. Great friendly service. 5 stars. Reasonable price. Lovely setting. Got in carpark but nearly full. Garden is beautiful and huge. Great area. Grandchild loved playing out there in children area. Will definitely go again 👍

Bloody lovely!! Very accommodating while busy, food was quick and delicious, bags of room outside to sit and for kids to play in the MASSIVE garden. Tiny inside but in a great way. Fab atmosphere. Loved it. Will be back for sure.

You know what, this pub is really growing on me. Every time I go I think it's one of the best pubs in the area. The staff are so friendly and the kids love the large garden.

A fantastic traditional pub, very picturesque with friendly staff who serve a good pint. Many nice countryside walks nearby.

Enjoyed a lovely summers day here - plenty of outdoor seating (with views) plus great tasting beers and food. One of very few places serving Timothy Taylor’s! 👌

Yet another enjoyable evening in The Cross Keys always a good vibe about the place. We didn't have any food but when the young ladies bought out food for people that had placed orders it looked delicious. Thanks staff for a lovely evening

Lovely old thatched pub with fantastic views. Great garden. Good for children. Reasonable range of beers. Only had pizza here but it was very nice.

What a little gem, found this pub by accident. Garden with truly lovely views over the downs. Food and service very good, would recommend.

Lovely pub with loads of history. The locals are proud to say they are patrons. Great to place to recoup after going up Castle Hill.

This is a really historic pub and it’s nice that there’s plenty of signage to explain it’s background and previous uses. Inside it’s really small with super low ceilings and exposed beams and the bar itself is equally small. As a result there isn’t the greatest choice of drinks but there is all the common favourites. There’s a small amount of seating inside but there’s a large decked area at the top of a large garden, which is great for admiring the view down the hill below. If you’ve got kids who want to run around then it’s an ideal garden for that, as well as having a couple of swings at the bottom. The car park is a decent size and all the staff inside are super friendly. Prices were reasonable and with the welcoming atmosphere it was a great place to stop by and I’d certainly return again if I was passing.
