Verona

We recently heard about Verona's and excited to try them after hearing they delivered to our area. After no one answered we went to check it out and found they were closed on a Monday despite what Google said. Thinking it was likely due to staffing we tried again tonight and had a great experience dining in. I mentioned to someone that turned out to be the owner about the hours and he was unaware that it had reverted back to old hours as they haven't been open on Monday for years. The food was great, great prices and portions were huge so we have lunch tomorrow! See attached delicious calzone pic! Excited to try more of the menu items! Definitely worth trying!

Excellent! Just passing through on our way to Massachusetts, and we were scrolling around the map and saw this place. Decided to try it out. I got a medium pepperoni Stromboli, wife got spaghetti and a cheese bread to split. Stromboli is big enough for me to have leftovers for tomorrow! Delicious all around!

Ordered for pickup. Got Philly cheese steaks deluxe: two 8" x $15.99 (although menu states 14.99) with fries included. Also got a 10pc.buffalo wings. At pickup, card machine was down for hours according to them, yet they didn't call me to inform. Luckily I had cash. The wings were a little rubbery but overall not bad. The subs tasted good overall but were very skimpy on meat, lettuce, tomatoes, peppers. Even Subway without getting double meat had more meat than these if that gives you any idea. It was a Sunday early evening so places to eat were slim pickings, like their meat provision. Next time I'll just keep a box of steak-umms in the freezer.
