Talk about some seriously sad plates. At 12 a plate you think we could get bigger servings and to be honest our waitress tonight did not even deserve a tip

I think Cracker Barrel has lost its damn mind. We ordered biscuits and gravy and it came like this. In a paper lined basket. We had to ask separately for a plate and silverware. The plate we received was a small bread plate and we were given a ice cream spoon for the gravy. Who eats biscuits and gravy like this? I'm in Georgia for god's sake, not New York. Wtaf? Ps our server was wonderful, I'm sorry she has to serve good like this.

Love Cracker Barrel, but due to COVID this is my first chance to visit than in over a year. Food still good, and prices reasonable. Service was lacking today from our server. We were never offered refills on our drinks. We had to flag her down if we needed anything. She might have been assigned more tables than she should have. She was pleasant and we were ok, this was just atypical for this restaurant. At 10:00 a.m. it wasn't too crowded.

We had a 30 minute wait but it was lunch on Saturday, a very busy time. Once seated, the service was fast and the food was excellent. My brother and sister had the country fried chicken and loved it. I had country fried steak and it was outstanding. We were very pleased with our meal and our experience. We will return for another meal.

My mother and I (both African American women, late 40s and 20s) visited this location on Saturday, March 26, 2022 around 4:30pm while traveling. The food and service from our waitress was amazing!! However, our experience was ruined solely by the cashier Laura (Caucasian, blond hair in a high pony-tail, aged late teens-mid 20’s). For someone to work in a hospitality, customer-service environment, the cashier Laura did NOT meet ANY decent customer service expectations, and we strongly felt that her actions were solely based upon our race. While we waited in line, Laura happily greeted the two Caucasian customers in line before us. However, once it was my mothers turn to pay for our meal, we did not receive a greeting or even a simple acknowledgment. My mother took the initiative to greet Laura first, and paid with an $100 bill. I have 7 years experience working in restaurants, INCLUDING serving at Cracker Barrel, so I understand that it is crucial for a cashier to verify that the money received is legitimate. However, I believe the extreme unnecessary actions that Laura did next were solely based on our race. After the routine steps were done-checking the front and back of the bill, then using the marker to ensure the money is not fraudulent—Laura seemed shocked and even angry that the $100 bill was indeed a valid bill. Laura glared and “side-eyed” my mother up and down as if she was trying to intimidate her. She then repeated the security steps an additional 4-5 times before finally accepting the payment.. Then, when giving my mother her change, Laura proceeded to THROW the bills and coins across the counter to my mother and simply walk away. This action is fully against Cracker Barrel’s policy, and does NOT embody their “southern hospitality,.” Cashiers are required to count the change out to customers, greet them and wish them some sort of goodbye. This experience really saddened us because we have never been treated with such blatant hatred and disrespect.

It was a somewhat cool place, the gift shop that you have to get through first felt like having to fight through a jungle, the Georgia heat helped greatly with this comparison. I don't know if there was a side door but the initial phase of entering the restaurant felt like a blatant disregard of the fire code. The restaurant itself was alright. Looks cool in there, nothing to complain about really. Food is what really nosedives our review here. My company ordered pot roast that looked far superior to what I ordered. I, a misguided fool, remembered a whisper about Cracker Barrel's chicken and dumplings. A tragic mistake on my part, as I was served a plate of glue for dumplings and very bland chicken. I turned to the green beans and mash potatoes I had ordered for my sides, and was also betrayed by my mash potatoes. Bland. Green beans were alright though. I also got two biscuits with my meal and honestly those slapped pretty hard. Only recommend this place for someone who you're trying to wean off eating glue and/or their biscuits.

The food was absolutely delicious!! I used the curbside pickup too order my food. Even ordered online as well as paid. Both times, the young ladies who brought out my food was extremely nice and was wearing a smile.
