Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

I ate there about a year ago and the service was terrible. The food was average at best. It had unfortunately gone downhill since my prior experience. I went back yesterday with my extended family (8 of us) to give them another try and never got to eat there because we waited and waited to be seated which never occurred. They kept saying they were cleaning off a table and we finally got fed up and left. It was not busy at all and there were plenty of socially distanced tables to put us. You would think with how the pandemic has adversely affected the restaurant business they would welcome an 8 top. We left and told them why on the way out the door. They had no excuses, no explanation and were completely unapologetic. They clearly didn’t care. We won’t be back.

After being asked to wait to be seated... server became inattentive and eventually never came back simply because I/we ordered appetizers and was not ready to our entrees at the moment. After specifically asking for a medium rare burger, the sandwich came out fully cooked and the server ignored me until my departure in which the complaint of the burger was made but only AFTER it was bought to the manager's attn in which he obliged with no problem... overall, the server was inattentive, slow and and immediately became uninterested in being our server simply because we did not order immediately.... won't be as quick to dine in any time soon as Dothan has more to offer but this situation made me wanna take advantage of other various eating establishments....
