Run! Don't walk. One of the best experiences I've had in a long time. Not super crowded and the staff are all attentive and take pride in the experience. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed. I want to come back for something other than brunch.

My wife and I had dinner at The Bit last night. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and the draft cocktails were tasty. We live a few towns over but found this place in Westchester magazine. Definitely worth the 20 drive. Best meal we’ve had in a long time…

A little expensive for American fare. Fish and chips were great super crisp but I'd never heard of that dish costing 30 dollars. Waitress was friendly, dessert was delicious. Will be revisting but again, expensive for the offerings.

Amazingly flavored and perfectly cooked and portioned food. Love the cocktail and gin and tonic selection, especially cool getting to sample a cocktail before you get it. And honestly, I was having a bad day; but when i walked in everyone from the hostess, to the bartender, to our waiter, was so welcoming and kind i felt like i had friends and it was the loveliest thing.

Read about The Rare Bit in Westchester's best magazine as the best new restaurant and it honestly did not disappoint. Great ambiance with wonderful staff and amazing food. We had the seared scallops which were phenomenal, the Fried chicken which was incredibly juicy and wonderful and the Chicken under a brick House special which I found to be amazing ( my girlfriend thought it was a little aggressive on the seasoning) with a side of brussel sprouts which were hearty and good. We will definitely be going back to continue to try the menu. The only issue that I can't dock points for is that parking could be challenging. Try it out

This restaurant is a wonderful addition to Dobbs Ferry. With and English pub feel the menu does not disappoint. We were with friends and ordered almost all of the appetizers and entrees to share with the table...what a delicious meal. The duck fried rice was amazing and the portion sizes were perfect for sharing. With such a friendly staff the evening was perfect, we will definitely be back

What an amazing little piece of England right in Dobbs Ferry! The Tikka Masala, Fish and Chips, and Bangers were all very very good... I would pass on the burger- but the fries were a hit! Juan our waiter was attentive, charming and precise. Lots of wait staff to make sure your experience is perfect. I’m pretty sure the manager came over 2x to see how we were doing. All in all a lovely experience.

From the same chef-owner as The Cookery, this place serves some fancy British pub-like food. On the menu, you will find the ever ubiquitous fish and chips, and even a London-popular chicken massala! I found the decor to be on point with the theme, and the service to be excellent. The food was generally ranging from very good to great, but definitely stay away from the kids options, they charged 10 dollars for a small plate of plain pasta with butter, whereas the hamburger with chips was only 15 dollars! Would have been nice for the waiter to provide some hint as to the portion size and relevant price to quality ratio for something not printed on the menu, or we would have made a better choice for our 7 year old, who needed more food after that small plate. However, we enjoyed everything else we ordered, such as the so called rabbit sausage (made of pork actually), chicken wings, and the scotch eggs for appetizers. For the main course, the Hen, Sunday rib roast special, the steak and stout pie, and hamburger and chips were our choices, all very good if not excellent. For desert, the Eton Mess was a disappointment, as there was ZERO hint of Absynth that was advertised on the menu description and not worth the 9 dollars I paid for it, but the other tart with blueberry and topped with vanish ice cream was a hit.
