A fantastic sushi place while I was visiting Denver. My friends took me and it was delicious, varied, and the place was inviting and fun. The person who waited on us was really funny, attentive, and welcoming. His big smile and friendly banter really made the experience that much nicer. Excited to go back when next in Denver.

Best meal of the trip. Boss is a USC grad so I’m going to use extra small words. ;) He was truly helpful and accommodating. We arrived after the lunch special cut off time but he made it happen for us anyway. The chicken teriyaki bento boxes were great. The tempura vegetables were better than expected. The rolls were fantastic. Mango roll had a little too much mango jelly on top but that’s just me. Got the IPA beer and that just made everything better. USC aside I’ll be back next time I’m in town. Go UTES!

We found this place by chance after our original target was closed and it did not dissapoint! The sushi was truly excellent, you could tell it was fresh and well prepared. What made Okinanawa especially amazing though, was the service. They waiters/waitresses were truly amazing, going above and beyond to make sure we had a positive experience. One offered us Sake on the house and all of them were more than happy to stop and have a conversation and Crack a few joke about whatever! I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone and anyone!

Very friendly service, with an expansive menu of food options, including the ability to request custom sushi rolls.
I enjoyed the vegetarian avocado and broccoli tempura rolls as an appetizer. However, for the main course I got the chicken and vegetable tempura, and felt that the vegetables were cut too thick for my liking.

We love this place and have been visiting since it first opened. The location on Colfax is rough and next to one of the busiest buss stops, very limited reserved parking in back.. but look past that and you’ll find very fresh fish and amazing attentive staff.

Personal, very hospitable , family friendly Sushi place with many regulars (of which I am one). Real table linens and they are non-plussed by the many, inevitable, soy sauce spots that we leave in our wake. Two for one drinks during happy hour. Friendly and fun atmosphere with good food in great variety.
