Brought a friend here last night. It is simply amazing. The food is so delicious but not overly complicated. The service is very attentive, fun, and, makes ordering easy. Definitely recommend a reservation and to come hungry. The hanger steak is on point- if you eat meat- it’s a must. The lamb ragu hummus… I can’t. Unbelievable. So good. 🤤🤤🤤🤤

You know you're in for something special when every single person you tell that you made reservations at Safta gets jealous. I went for the Sunday All-You-Can-Eat Brunch and I was up for the challenge. The amount of amazing food and choices they had was phenomenal and everything was amazing. The service was amazing - they were kind and generous with their time, explaining what their favorites on the buffet were. I would 1000% recommend that this be your first and last stop in Denver.

Had great experience at Safta. Ordered whipped feta, mushroom hummus, and duck to share. All food was great. Hot toddy was ok. But what made our evening even better was a very gracious server Steven who was beyond attentive and pleasant. Definitely recommend 👍🏻

This is my favorite restaurant in Denver. The food is incredible. The menu changes slightly, but in general they have small plates, hummus and all sorts of yummy dishes to share. The fresh, warm homemade pita is insanely good. Lots of vegetarian choices. The cocktails are also beautiful and delicious.

3 items would have been enough. We had leftovers. The vibe was nice but not as fancy as I expected based on the price or the food. Everything we got was so good- especially the whipped feta and pita. The pita was the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely return. Also got a mocktail which was delicious. Pictures is the falafel plate, tabbouleh, whipped feta, and tahini hummus. The drink is the pomegranate burst.

I love this spot and it is worth making a reservation for. everything is well done with excellent presentation, and quite attentive service. go for the experience. if you are a purist, you can find the same quality of food for a much more competitive price point elsewhere. except for the pita. that wood fired pita is of note. points for nailing a foundational food.

My gosh, some of the best food I’ve ever experienced. Perfect place for a celebration dinner. We were lucky enough to get a table as a walk-in right at open. Everything was spectacular, but the falafel and eggplant really stole the show.

Absolutely delicious! This is a unique blend of traditional Eastern Europe/ middle eastern dishes with a modern twist. I highly recommend the whipped feta! Don’t leave without trying it! Better yet, get both the whipped feta AND lutenitsa. Individually they are phenomenal but try putting them together in one bite 😉. This place is meant to be a “fancier” place more focused on the flavors of each thing you order as opposed to having a big meal with rice and several sides. The lamb is absolutely worth a try if you typically shy away from this meat. It is prepared, cooked and seasoned properly and it’s delicious! Most people in the states seem to shy away from lamb because it’s never quite cooked properly since Americans don’t usually cook it. But Eastern European countries do it right and this place nails it! I can absolutely attest that if you don’t usually like lamb, try it here! You won’t be disappointed!

Safta is Israeli food at its best! (plus a few dishes from around the Middle East.) The pita is amazing! (It's baked right there, all day long, in a wood-fired oven!) The Hummus (חומוס) comes is several varieties and is smooth and delicious. The Baba Ganoush (חצילים) is smoky and tangy, just like it's meant to be. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming. The only problem is that the menu sports too many delicious dishes to settle on just one!

This is one of the best restaurants in Denver, no doubt. The food is absolutely exceptional with great cocktails, excellent service, and a really fun vibe in the restaurant. Safta is family style eating, so it's recommended to get a bunch of different plates and share with your table. I've been twice with just my GF, and both times we were so glad we over ordered. For 2-4 people I would say order ~3 dips, 2 smaller bites, and 1 larger entree to split. There's plenty of fresh pita to go around that keeps you dipping again and again. There are so many delicious items, that it is hard to even recommend any. First, I'll lost all the dishes we have had that are great, and then I'll name a few that were above and beyond shining stars. Things we love that are great: Dips: whipped feta, soft boiled egg hummus, muhammara, baba ghanoush, tunisian tomato hummus. All of these were super delicious. If you like harissa, the soft boiled egg hummus is killer. I think their baba is the star of the show, I absolutely love it. For something new and different, definitely get the muhammara, it will certainly surprise you. Small plates: falafel, crispy eggplant, salmon crudo, cheese borekas, lamb kebabs. I would say the main two to be sure not to miss are the crispy eggplant and the lamb kebabs, boths of which are divine. Big plates: harissa chicken. We have only gotten one bigger plate during our visits, since it is a ton of food for just two people. On our more recent visit, we got the harissa chicken knowing we would take most of it home, and we're so glad we did. It is so so flavorful and super moist and juicy. I highly recommend this dish especially if you've got a bigger group that needs some extra food to fill up on. PS don't forget to get some pickles for dipping :D All in all, 6/5 stars. Really a beautiful place to eat. I was so happy to have such a delicious Mediterranean meal in the land locked west.
