Japango offers mediocre food at best. We ordered the shrimp wontons as an appetizer which were tasty, but the mayo sauce was bland. For dinner my date ordered the California rolls which she described as "all right." The size of my shrimp teriyaki dish was generous, but the taste was boring. Dinner from Panda Express would have been more enjoyable.
I was put off when I noticed the waitress added a 15% tip to the bill. I'm sure this was a trick in hopes of getting a 35% tip (15 + 20).

My go to Sushi restaurant was closed for renovations so I went to Japango.
On a Sunday around 8:30, it was dead.
I ordered the sashimi take out. It was good but a little pricey.

The portions are pretty big. The food was overall pretty good, and the service was excellent. The Pad Thai was a little on the sweet side.

The amount of different food on the menu is great. So many options. Food came out fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend.

I am usually a pretty easy going guy when it comes to reviews, but this was not a good experience. Was there for dinner with a date prior to going to the movies on a Sunday night. It was 5:30 and the place was not crowded. The man that sat us looked like he didn't even want to be there. Then we sat for almost 30 minutes before anyone took our order. I had to walk up to the sushi bar to ask for help as we didn't even see a waiter or waitress. Then it took another 15 to 20 minutes just to make 2 sushi rolls. The food was in my opinion was not good. I have eaten sushi all over the US as I travel for work and this by far was the worst not even as good as what I can get from my local grocery store. Luckily I had already purchased the movie tickets as we just made the movie in time. Needless to say that was my first and last time at this establishment. Luckily there are other choices within walking distance to the theater. I would not recommend this place at all.

I love this location. As a frequent diner at Japangos, this location is the most spacious and best designed. The service is great and it is also conveniently located next to a movie theater, which is an added bonus. I love the spicy tuna rolls and eel rolls that they serve. The duck rolls are also very nice. I would very much recommend this place to my friends.

Japango has some of the freshest and most unique sushi around. You won't find rolls like this anywhere else. The menu offers a large variety of dishes from Thai to Japanese, but the sushi is what Japango is really about. Everyone will find something to their liking. Great atmosphere as well, and it doesn't get too loud like a lot of other restaurants around Delray. Definitely recommend!

The food here was great! I had the Sushi and Fried Rice. Great location for a Casual Dinner Date. You can catch a movie after or even a Coctail at any of the bars nearby after Dinner. Bring your appetite, very nice portions.
